A place to discuss all things ADM

When I picked up my GT3 a few weeks back, my SA mentioned that there are no more GT3 allocations out there (my BIL has a '19 touring and was considering an "upgrade") and my SA has been pretty accurate with his info in my experience. He said the same as above - plenty of 3RS and 4RS allocations out there which don't seem to be in as much demand as GT3s have been and they're starting to see the ADMs come down on those.

Just got a call from a Cali dealer of mine. They had a client back out of a GT3 allocation. Had a freeze date of 7/5 but is still changeable as of now. Late November delivery. 70k over MSRP total.

Glad to hear this dealer thinks they can get $70 k over msrp- I feel a little better for agreeing to pay $40,000 over msrp. Plus a GT3 watch. First Porsche I have paid over msrp — hope I don’t get to use to this idea.
my dealer says he had a guy call and offer to pay $100k over msrp this morning. But my allocation - I was told is the last 2024 allocation they will receive.
They are not sure if the GT3 will be available as a 2025.
Now I just to mention this allocation to my wife. My thought was to bring it up over lunch at PECLA during the delivery of. My 2023 911 T in Rubystar with the gloss black aero kit.
I have been on a car buying kick ever since my heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. I decided cars are cheaper and less maintenance than a girlfriend.
Selected the pdk for the GT3 as this 911T is a seven speed manual. Paid msrp for this T.

Congrats on the call. From my experience 70k is a bit on the higher side but at this point there's not many GT3 allocations left.
My GT3T freeze date was on 6/22 with an expected delivery date of 9/1. Curious as to why your delivery date is in Nov. when there's only a few days separating our freeze dates.

What was the ADM on your GT3 Touring that locks soon? Most dealers are asking for more than a winged GT3.
my thought was to take the winged GT3 and buy Fabspeeds GT3 wing delete kit for $1,400 and a few hours of wrench work -and you have the same car but with a cool ducktail like the sport classic that the Touring does not have for some reason.
It seemed wrong that the msrp on a Touring is the same as the winged car but you don’t get the wing and the hangers that Porsche surely charges something close to $10,000 to buy as a part.
the advantage that I see with the Touring is that Porsche offers more interior colors and 911 options.
Colorado Springs Porsche has a gorgeous 2022 Touring in Olso blue with a chalk interior - I was about to make an offer when I got offered a 2024 allocation for a winged GT3 at $40,000 over msrp.
This Oslo blue Touring has a msrp of $216,000 and an asking price of $316,000 -a $100,000 for a low mileage Touring that is two model years older than my 24’ Winged GT3.
I will see if I like the wing or not- I think it blocks the rear view vision - which is a problem on the street in a quarter million dollar car. And the GT3 does not offer lane change assist - which could help on a track as well I would think. Only Porsche gives you a lot less in features and gets away with charging you more.

I ended up locking my GT3T allocation in at 65k over with an out of state dealer. Only downside was being locked out of PTS which greatly reduced my color palette selection.
Which reminds me- I ran across a new specd GT3T that a buyer backed out of. The dealer was charging ADM (not sure how much) and the only requirement was that it be purchased by an in-state California resident. Figured I would mention it since your profile states that you reside in SD.
I completely agree with you on the appearance of the de-winged version in contrast to the Touring. The Duck wing setup is far more attractive and felt Porsche could've done a bit more to improve upon the appearance of the Touring wing.
40k over for a winged is a good deal- nice pickup!

When you pay $40,000 over for any car it hardly feels like you got a good deal. I always have the feeling that Porsche could build thousands and thousands of these cars if they wanted.
also while the $40,000 over seems reasonable - my 2024 is costing me on the base price around 8% more than on a 2023 or 2022. What I lost was some options I could have ordered on a 2023 - the base price increased around $11,000 - so really I paid around a $50,000 ADM. But I am much happier saying to myself I only paid $40,000.
The prices of 911’s increased around 7% across the range. So maybe Porsche is sucking up some of the dealers ADM….

Im certain Porsche has the capability of increasing production but at what cost? From my perspective, its more about preserving the quality/reputation rather than following a domestic manufacturers approach and loading up lots.

What is the going ADM for GT3RS allocations?
I'm seeing anywhere from 150k to 300k?
