A 2022 that hasn’t even been run in yet ? What a waste

Not sure about the Dakar. I’ve seen $200K+trade to $300K for Sports Classic. And a bunch of 100-150 for the 3rs. Wildly Guessing it’ll be closer to the SC.

$235k for that? Uhhh...do you have a natural gas leak at your house? Better get some fresh air!

Point being I thought it would go for much higher.

I actually don't see the problem at all with what is said here. He's simply saying it's not worth it to him- there are others on the board saying the same damn thing.
We got some seriously angry people and overly critical folks on this board with entirely too much vitriol, and a few that probably need a damn therapist.

If they graduated 'with honors' or are big 'money managers' or big guys with big 'net worth', they should be leading by example, but instead, they undercut a lot of folks here. It's frankly pathetic and sad.

The ones that paid ADMs seem to protest a bit much in this thread, they just don't want to hear that the car is heading towards MSRP.

What we see on RL is not so different from the cabbage patch doll mania I mentioned earlier. Cars are nice toys that can be a vehicle to some pleasant experiences, but when someone gives obsessive importance to material things, it will often be at the expense of things that are fundamentally more important in life.

People who can’t afford expensive cars are usually amazed when they see my garage, and I often encourage (some of) them to drive some of the cars so they can see for themselves that they’re just cars, not magic perpetual happiness machines.

Are they not referring to the increase in MSRP meaning that the car would go for ~$20k higher than what was shown as sticker? So $235k vs $215k

I’m referring to if you spec it out on the configuration the MSRP would be around $235k

no gas leak that I’m aware of

A not so subtle "flex" from a guy that has posted over 225X saying the SAME THING over and over again and obsessing over an ADM thread.
Completely tone-deaf. Or maybe you're lonely and just like hearing yourself talk even though you offer nothing new and it's mindlessly repetitive.
Sad really.

I think it's funny that there were always a few GT3s on BaT, then 3 sold for less than $230k from Jan-March, after which people seemed to be scared to sell on BaT ( not many cars offered for a spell late March, early April, only two sales between 3/2-4/18). There are cars for sale again now, but the dip in cars offered was entertaining. I think there are likely a good number of people who want to sell sometime, but are trying to be careful when, to preserve value. If all who wanted to sell put their cars up without reserve now, things would be very interesting.
