I understand how you're feeling. I've sadly given up on a GT3 (have lusted for a performance 911 since I was a kid) and ordered an Aston Martin. The entire purchasing experience has been wonderful (so far

Maybe it will be easier to get a GT3 when the 992.2 comes out. My understanding is that Porsche generally intends to increase production of 911s, and demand may be less in a year or two (I still think we're in a bubble induced by the pandemic and stimulus).

Long shot here as this will be my first Porsche purchase, but my financial and professional situation continues to improve to where I'm at a point where I feel like I should be doing some work on getting on lists or building relationships for the 992.2 GT3.
Some random info: I'm in the SoCal market and I'm ok with working with any dealer in the country ( can fly out ect ect ). Originally, I thought I would only be comfortable at MSRP, but with my improved situation I think something in the 10-20k adm range would be alright ( I know this is a big cope on what current ADMs on Winged models are ).
I think I was originally only ok with a new purchase/own spec since I was going to spend this kind of money, but I think I'm good with a used purchase over. Anyways, if anyone here wouldn't mind pointing any leads or directions or opening any doors my way, it's always greatly appreciated. Last time for the 992 back in 2021, I tried calling probably 50+ dealers and didn't get anywhere really. I'll do the same rounds this time also.
I'm a Licensed Customs Broker who has been dealing in various Imports for over 11 years and also have a bunch of certifications in IT/Networking and know a bit of coding so I could provide any value back for the leads I would be more than happy to help!

My dealer knows that if a 4RS allocation comes, I want it. But they’re not expecting to get any more allocations, and probably not my turn if they get only one.
I’m actually looking at venturing beyond Porsche for the next car, I want more variety and getting a little tired of all the bs associated with getting Porsches. They’re great cars, but the exclusivity crap irritates me.

just be happy you got a 991 gt3 msrp 992 gt3 msrp
many people are not that lucky and do not have that relationship.

Some comments on this car during auction that car had evidence of hard driving before it even hit break in miles. No reports on overrevs. Brakes were rough for miles. Details no doubt impact auction price.

I am in no way looking for an allocation but Porsche South Bay texted me yesterday asking if I’m interested in a touring allocation for 100k over.
didn’t think Porsche was still making normal gt3’s anymore so there’s that…
the fact they’re texting me about it must mean no one is interested remotely close to the ask
