Rinse - repeat with this GT car thing. Like I said above, no weird science to apply here. It is purely transactional. There's no list, nothing else but agreeing on the ADM (or not, if you are VIP or regular trade in customer) configure, order and move on. I speak from my own experience only summarized as below:

1.- Long time Pcar owner, but had a few years wondering what this whole GT car thing was about?
2.- Decided to quash the curiosity in late 2020. C-19 may have had a bit (or a lot) to do with it.
3.- Started to inquire naively at my local dealers in early 2021 and got the 'get on the list' buy a panamera first BS. Hard Pass. Quickly learned from other GT car buddies that have paid ADM what the game rules were and still are.
4.- Spring 2021: Posted on Rennlist a want to buy Ad with disclaimer 'WILLING TO PAY ADM'. Took me 6 months to find the appropriate and legitimate PTS and configurable allocation offering. Got offered a lot of scam attempts and convoluted transactions in the process which I declined all.
5.- October 2021: Once agreed paid the ADM immediately and same day had the order populated on my Porsche account. Had fun and no sleep configuring a car within 24 hours as the build was about to lock when we closed the deal.
6.- Car arrived September 2022. Crazy fun ever since and can't remember, don't care what amount of ADM was paid nor what other people think. It's just a fun and loud car that turns heads everywhere. Sans wing even more.

for the dot 2s or any other generation GT car that interests me, I'll gladly repeat steps 4 and 5 and get to the same result with a caveat predecessor that my current GT car will be sold at or above market value if and when that time comes. THE END.

The only direction the price of this car is going is DOWN.
Not a shocker but I could swear I’ve read North Houston Porsche is a MSRP dealer and doesn’t BS.

Only way to sell a delivery mile 3RS is to sell to someone within the dealership or “VIP” to re-sell as used. So much for that MSRP allocation.

My point is all these dealerships are the same. End goal is to make as much profit as possible and I don’t blame them. A dealer in a high traffic market charging ADM is no different than those who pretend to be “nice” by having one off or a few “relationships” where they will recoup lost ADM in other ways.

on track I honestly have fun with anything tbh, my m4 and my old mustang gt from when I tracked high school college days are both fun because they drift a lot more than say a Porsche. but Porsches are just so impressive but I really like driving like Chris Harris towards the end of the day (or at least try to) haha so drift happy cars are really fun for me.

any day at the track in any car is a great day of fun
I get that. On the road, I enjoyed my 991.1 GT3 more than the 991.2 3RS when driven back to back. And the same day, I enjoyed my 992 TTS more than both of them (strong acceleration, sharp handling with Cup 2 and more aggressive alignment).

And I enjoy my manual 981 GT4, Cayman R, and 997.1 C2S more than all of the preceding faster cars.

The one really fast car which vies for the top spot is the 991.2 TTS, because it has the smaller and more analog and raw feel of the 991 series, while still having thumping performance. It's an exciting car.

I can enjoy any well set up car on the track, but Porsche GT cars are my favorites. The 991.2 3 RS is costing much more than what I'm selling the 991.1 GT3 for, so I'm really hoping I like the RS much more!

I'm sure they have a few customers, including VIPs, who want to flip their cars and they do it through the dealer to maintain their relationship. Never once have they asked me to sell the car back to them right after I bought them so it was a voluntary decision by the customer.

Speaking of cars and IPAs, I stayed at the Portifino hotel and marine in LA recently. I had no idea of the history of the hotel until I was in the bar drinking a Cannon Ball Run IPA.

It was the primary reason I stopped posting here as much, a couple years ago when I joined my first and only impressions were of all of these personal attacks by him, really didn't give me a good impression of the Porsche community as a whole and made it pointless to share thoughts on cars. I am sure there are others who are lurking, and afraid to even post their opinions due to this, which essentially will hold the forum back from growing in the future. The ADM thread is where a lot of new members and first time buyers would get their first exposure to the brand and the community, I think it is important it be a place where new people feel comfortable posting. It has been two years of this type of negativity, and the moderators do not seem to care.

Probably depends on the PTS color but I'd say $270k - $290k give or take. Selling yours??

Not selling (yet), but thank you for the input. At least until the Dot2s come out, then I'll decide what to do. I have other cars inbound and save for the bucket list PCH trip, and fun factor aside, I haven't connected with the car 100% yet. Maybe I need to go to a DE or AutoX day and then take it from there.

@Manifold Engine is a symphony, no doubt about it and the handling is pin point precise, but I feel it is too assisted. My only previous comparison points are my former non GT 991s 992s, all manuals, which were too soft. a friend's 991 GT3 RS which was too rough and rigid, a 997 GT# which I drove for 40 miles while testing it out for an out of state friend that bought it, and my 997TT which IMO is the perfect blend even though it is not N/A. I am still trying to find the 'spot' if there is one to be found on the 992 GT3T. I don't track and have no interest or time to do it so in daily distance driving on FL flat roads its just loud and fast, and once you get past the inevitable show off factor at CnCs what's next? Curious to hear from others vis a vis first GT car experience vs this 992 version.
