I think Pcar was the wrong forum for a Canadian car. The import process is beyond simple. The cars are all North American approved and Carfax works both countries as well as the full factory Warrenty. There is no difference between the two.

Im not saying this is a one off, but it does kinda seem that way. I don’t think the market cooled off like that.

To drive this home, there is no “Federalization” needed. The cars already come USA approved. The stickers are already on the car stating they meet California emissions standards and the LOC from Porsche comes free with a phone call to PCNA. You pay 2.5% of purchase price and transport it or drive it yourself.

Definitely a low price, but the white interior, although looks classy with the green, is certainly not easy to keep looking nice or high on many lists for interior color. Pus the "uncertainty" of the ordeal to get the car imported had to play a part. The comments seem to imply if the winner wanted a company to handle all import duties/organization it's ~10k. So winner is looking at additional 15K (import and 5k auction fee) before their own state taxes and registration. Still puts that car/condition way below market- at least the market we have been seeing.

Contrarily, the asking of 315K is definitely dream territory.

Blue car is a beauty. Should easily sell for $250k+, doubt it will fetch the asking the price. I'd take out the fire extinguisher, looks out of place in a wingless car with comfort seats.

Hey all -

Anyone aware of ADM’s in the realm of 40k for some of the last remaining allocations for the 992.1?

I’ve been lurking around for at least two years, and been to PECLA and love the GT3. I would be really lucky to get a custom build. Thank you all for your advice and input. Glad this thread got back on track.

Happy driving!

Yes, federalized was the wrong term for what I described. Agreed this is closer to a 'one-off' than 'market' since we saw two similar cars go for ~$280k just a couple weeks ago. That said, there's no way this car, Canadian or not, wouldn't have been snapped up in early '22 at a price only proportionately lower to a US car (ie 20-30k)

Consider reaching out to bpeacock - he's a broker who sometimes posts on this thread. ~50k for a winged car allocation still seems like market.

There's a difference is an ASKING price versus a SALES price.

very true, but i think they'll get it. i know of two GT4RS's that just sold for 60 and 50, so this isn't too far off (and it's a GT3)

Are there any more configurable GT3 or GT3 RS or GT4 RS allocations floating around?

Not really, just trying understand where things are. Though I might take a 4RS allocation, if offered.

Not even 48 hrs after delivery of a 991.2 RS already thinking about the next car. Must be nice

4RS will feel less compliant/planted than your 3RS but it will feel more raw/more of an experience to drive.
