A place to discuss all things ADM
#2476
So now we're not only telling folks what not to spend, we are also telling them how much they should wait. This thread cracks me up.. I don't know anything about modern day AMGs so I will stay on my pre merger/early post merger lane, those only have one way to keep going and that is up.

we come here for the action. We got side bets going on. Each day there’s an over/under on how many times you, usc, and welike mention ADM’s and the gt market collapse. It’s entertaining and profitable. Keep it going. If there’s one constant, y’all don’t stop.
When you’re done with your palantír Saruman, pass it along. I’d like to know what the power ball numbers are going to be this week.

Things are coming down, I wasn’t event really shopping but saw one of these in person and sent out two emails on Saturday and Monday come get it MSRP. Yes, my wife likes it so that’s all that matters before the flames. 😎
Color Moonlight White Magno is awesom! Yes, I know it’s not a Porsche but point is pricing will stabilize if you wait …..now if you don’t all good get what you want and feel good about it’s just money.

How many Bear Markets have you been through?
Do you have a newsletter or blog that I can subscribe to for more "predictions" on the economy and markets?
How are you currently "positioned to take advantage" of a downturn?
Are you short equities, bonds, or the U.S. Dollar?

Pretty wild the G63's are already down to sticker. Someone told me (no actual idea) they were like 100k over a year ago.

I've always been patient too.
And the very first Bear Market that I had actual "skin" in the game was 1980 - 1982.
Lots of people make predictions... but I find that having actual "skin" in the game is an entirely different animal.
I paid an ADM for a 2023 GT3 Touring.
I was comfortable with the ADM because I thought that it was "reasonable" given my financial situation.
Also because I was given an opportunity to purchase a GT car that might not otherwise be available to me given that I've only owned 2 PCars in my entire life.
Everyone has their own unique situation. That's why I think it's pointless to cast "generalizations".
October build.

I also dont believe that anyone has a significant portion of their net worth wrapped up in a GT car.
I guess that's my overall point.

Just view cars as zero value once you drive them off the lot, it takes away all the silly talk …it’s a consumable. Some get lucky and make a little, but if you look for zero life is easier just saying.

And even easier still when one just stops worrying about how and how much others are paying for their cars.
