I was hoping someone might help me better understand something given how widely used the term ADM is...
Often times it's used as a straight up number tacked on top of MSRP - $50k, $100k etc. Does that ever take into account extras that may come with the car at the ADM price? Specifically the shark blue winged car that sold in NJ a couple weeks ago and discussed on here - it was a roughly $207k spec with a $250k asking price (used) but it included full PPF. So while on paper there was a $43k markup on the car - full PPF in NJ is probably going to cost $6-8k which would make the markup $35-37k. My question is - do people around here just look at that as a $43k ADM and the PPF is just a bonus with the purchase or is it a $37k markup because the buyer got an add on with their purchase? In some previous cases people mentioned having to buy the watch with their car - is that considered ADM or is that backed out of the number because you're getting something for that additional cost?
I realize this may sound like splitting hairs but I was just hoping to better understand the usage of the term.

I'd love to see all these keyboard warriors actually post a single picture of the car they own. Would probably weed out a lot of the nonsense in here. Got guys saying they wouldn't even buy a 992 GT3 at MSRP - what in the world are you doing in this thread then? Nothing productive, just talking crap and ruining any meaningful conversation.
I'm taking delivery of my 2023 Touring tomorrow when the sun comes out from this atmospheric river we've been stuck in.
Can't wait.

I have been following this thread for over a year and unfortunately received my deposits back from 2 dealers this week. Was given an option from my local dealer at their last allocation slot for a Touring at $100k over. Unfortunately I'm not in the realm of being able to afford a $300k car. I just don't think these cars are worth even 50 over. On a positive note, I feel like I just got a $10,000 bonus out of the blue. Despite coming up short on the 991.2 and 992.1 GT3T, I still enjoy my 2 997.1 turbos and don't feel I'm missing out on anything.
A lot more important things in life.
The thread has mostly gone off the rails with posters pissing on each other. Probably going to unsubscribe now.
The Olive green and Gemini blue cars are gorgeous. I hope their owners enjoy them for a long time.
