If you use it on the track like it was designed for, you will see that that it works perfectly.

Ditto.

On the track Sport+ is sublime

In my 991.2 it is useable on the street, but depending on the situation holds gears longer than I would often prefer shifting around 4k when light on the throttle, and anywhere from 4k-redline depending on how much more/quick the throttle input you give it.

To the 991.2 S+ is a bit too much, I never use it cause I dont need to be at 5k all the time

I too called my local Porsche dealer and they just have the notice, they don't know of anyone doing the update yet. I may be interested in doing it, but I need to re-immerse myself into pre-update behaviors before doing the update.
I had mine done yesterday- read my thread on my initial comments.

That's right, the "fix" only applies to PDK

Got this taken care of today. Took a bit over an hour. Not sure why, but the car felt lighter with the reprogramming. Sport + is now more accessible in an auto mode. Not sure how earlier shifts would affect lap time on tracks. Overall, I am happy with this reprogramming. Porsche Austin did an excellent job and their new facility is impressive.

Official AMCo Recall PDF document is attached, as was predicted:

Per instructions, they will be attaching a recall label under the front lid

Of course in CA the recall must be completed as they will be looking for the sticker under the hood.

I had the flash done last week during my major service. Sport+ is much better on the street in auto mode now. Haven’t had it on a track. No discernible difference in normal or Sport.
