Stop Sale Campaign on 911 with Sport Chrono?
I have had my 2016 C4 GTS Cab at my local dealer for a consignment sale. Today I was told they have to take it off the market as a corporate stop sale campaign related to the Sport Chrono package. Does anyone know any details about it?
Update - I am not waiting around on what this means and elected to sell my car instead of consign. Overall this experience is the worst I have had as a Porsche owner, yes the timing of it also intersected with my personal desire to sell, but the ambiguity and lack of coordinated communication to the owners is poor. I have no idea if this issue affects value, but it clearly has been determined to effect potential liability to the corporation and as an owner, I too, am affected. I will have no further updates unless I am directly contacted by Porsche.

They couldn't give you any more info on that? Sounds very strange and this better not turn into a recall!

First I’ve heard of this. Definitely try and get more detail out of the dealership.... as a 991.1 sport chrono owner, I’m very interested in how this story plays out...

I am following up today, when I spoke with them yesterday, they said they had just received it and didn't have the details yet. BUT, they did have to take the listing of my car down and said that they had never had a factory action that made them stop sale of preowned vehicles. They also stated that it may affect other models with Sport Chrono, potentially MY 2013-2016.
In any event, I am motivated to find out ASAP as I have a car I want to sell! If they cant sell it I will be offering it as a private sale.

So what is different about SC cars?
1. Clock on dash <- probably not this
2. Sport Plus button <- probably not this
3. Active engine mounts that have a terrible reputation of failing <- hmmm

Yes, it seems strange. My vehicle is a CPO with a year + of remaining coverage, so they may have some concerns, don't know. SC may change engine fuel management software also...

This sounds absurd. "Dealership you must stop the resale of a used car that we sold new due to a problem caused by us and there are no details"
