Vast majority that read yahoo news don't know the difference between a 912 and a 992 let alone a 997 and 991. People getting news from yahoo are mostly FBI agents creating dossiers and inventing facts.

I am starting to see again 991.1 CPO vehicles listed with the SC package on Porsche's website on the west coast... maybe there's a software fix? ...well...there's one listed so maybe not

If the HP drops off then that is a different situation.
Would have to run a dyno to see if the HP drop (if any) puts it below the advertised number. If you have less than before, but more than advertised, you still "got your money worth".

They can list it, they just can’t deliver it. A good friend recently inquired about a 991.1 with SC+ at a CA dealer and was told about the stop sale.

Here’s a funny story for everyone. I had 10 miles left in the tank (don’t judge) driving home in normal mode. Switched to S+ to get there faster and the estimate went to ——. LOL I never touched the gas pedal.

Exactly! Take the car to the dealer so they can make it slower for you, forget about it. Let the damn tree huggers eat it. There are so few cars with this feature, older Porsches with Sport Chrono, that it is not even worth talking about. Nonsense.

It's all about emissions being high when in Sport Chrono +. Porsche is halting sales so they have time to access the situation.
