Maaca,
I think you hit the key word, 'almost'. A marketer's dream come true.

Well i still think that the amount of gt3rs will be pretty limited due to the fact that the car is 1.5 years delayed! If there will be a 2nd version 991 gr3rs coming i think the production will only last about 1 year! Given that time i think it will be "naturally" limited! My dealer said something like 500 - but who knows! Fact is there are waiting lists in germany and all dealers get only very limited numbers ( i know at least 5 different porsche dealers)! Gt4 has no limitations!! In that case everyone gets one, in the case of the gt3rs i dont think so

There are waiting lists for both the RS and the GT4 because everyone is being told ("marketed") that the cars will be made out of unobtanium. So everyone's thinking: "Better to put down a refundable $1000 towards a chance of being able to decide if I want it." Half of the people on those lists are not even 50% sure they'll buy the car. Happens with every new Porsche GT model. Everyone who wants an RS and a GT4 will be able to get one.

All this speculation on production numbers is just hilarious.
So some reckon it's 500 whilst others think whoever wants one will get one. One of the UAE dealers said production figures is circa 6000. So who knows?
One thing is for sure - that this car, certainly in the UAE - has prolific interest - 40 people on list in Dubai, 30 in Abu Dhabi - the local royal families now all want one blah blah blah; when I ordered 997.2 RS I was the second on the list and it maxed out at six I believe (Abu Dhabi). I blame the PDK for these huge numbers of interest. Two things are for sure in this part of the world: if its not 500 cars, the interest will disappear and once driven, I reckon many of them will be sold quickly having realised this car is not for the street
So even if my position (I was one of the first on lists here) is bumped due to me not being "local" or "royal" I will be waiting to snap up a deal!
If it is a ltd run, it will be a great shame as many of the cars will not be driven and that will be a sin of great magnitude

If you look at how many 997.1rs and 997.2rs were made, you probably get a good idea on production numbers.
The 1.3 has been extremely popular and economy is pretty good so maybe we see more RSs made than 997 model?

If this information is approximately accurate, (???)
the 991 GT3RS Volume may actually surpass the GT3 volume for the first time.

Two facts
1) 991 GT3 is naturally or by design limited production number so the price will raise
2) Andrea Preuninger stated very clearly that GT4 will Not be a limited production number, he said not probably 6000 (demand) but for
Sure Not 1000! So anyone outthere can have GT4
how many 991 GT3 RS ? Who knows, my 2 cents is
they are really late on time planning and might be that they keep thus 991 RS as the last NA (if not already in a first light approach transitioned to hybrid (in any sense turbo or electric systems ) world according to Hantz spilled similiraties with upcoming 991.2 and air intaker around the car )
but the last is just speculation while the first 2 points are facts
Off topic my PDK-S is AMAZING in compare to my 991 C4S PDK
totally another world
so considering the very few 991 GT3 produced
most of the critics of PDK are based on paper or CxS CxGTS wrong opinion
Just drive it (if you re lucky to find one ) and you ll come to the point as all the skeptical jurnos "i was not in favour but hey guys after having tested one Yeah it fits perfectly and i would really buy it )
So what ? RS still NA ? Go for it either it might see more cars produced than current GT3
RS somehow already transitioned ? Bring your current GT3 to a Swiss bank
