That's the same numbers that I've been told! So I would guess somewhere just shy of 2000 cars worldwide in today's economy! Don't forget that 7.2rs sales was down mainly because of the terrible world economic situation!

I think the 1.3 is the biggest production number gt to date so don't be surprised if the 1rs will follow! And to me this is because

a, 991gt3 is a great car!

b, economy is good!

Another poor article littered with inaccuracies (many stemming from the Autocar Andrew Frankel interview with Hatz) compounded by poor "adobe" work up of the RS. Compounded with the Australian journalistic piece aimed at loosing Walter R his job it seems we have some high quality reporting on the subject these days LOL!

If you get a black car, it will hide the plastic gills on the front fenders and rear fender turbo inlets...

On bright color cars they will stick out like a sore thumb.

Am I the only one that dislikes the turbo side vents and the front fender vents? They maybe functional, but it just doesn't look good. I guess this is why the 4.0 values continue to go higher, aside from the manual trans.

The rear of this car is taken from a GT3. The rear curvature of a wide (turbo) body (which for sure will be the basis for an RS, regardless of the vent being there or not), is more flat on top. Just take a look at picture of a Turbo from the same angle. Obviously the picture gives away as being photoshopped by noting the inconsistent appearance of a GT3 sticker on right front fender!
