I have seen that in two or three decent spec 991.1 RS long term listings—but the 991.2 not doing that—perhaps because there are more of the latter. Such a weird market.
Hi all, I am on the search for a 991.2 GT3RS or a 992 GT3. Want some expertise and advice on my decision making. Trying to budget around 250, would it be safe to say it's a better bet to buy a 3RS more so than a 992 GT3 in today's market? Any owners here that would advocate that the new GT3 is worth the same amount of money and should be highly considered vs a .2 3RS?
There are no plans for the car to be tracked at this moment, but my heart is telling me to go 3RS regardless of the use basis.

Few thoughts for your use context --
Base .2 is marginally more comfortable/softer on street than .2 RS. Base 992 edges closer to RS in this area, so comfort not a deciding factor.
Engines a wash. Both front ends will take take you into the ditch if not paying attn.
Do you want a more digital or analog interior? .2 RS notably more analog.
Very underdiscussed and underappreciated, RS intakes create a sound dynamic with windows down that cannot be matched by any of the base GT3's, or as it turns out, 992 RS. If you're regularly windows down, don't think it's an overstatement to suggest this alone could push you to the RS. It's really special. Will surely go down as a defining (and coveted) feature within the RS range.
Need to query the brain trust. Looking to make my first GT car purchase and a 991.1 is what fits my budget. I have 2 cars I'm currently interested in, one is here ...2015 with 20k miles and buckets, which are a requirement. The other is a .1 RS with 46k miles and unlisted, it's thru a friend. The RS is a $15k more, more than twice the miles, but it's an RS and that's something i never thought I'd be able to buy. Yeah it's got some miles but I'm going to get a PPI and will have a budget for repairs.
Is it worth it to stretch and buy a high mile RS or will I be satisfied with a regular GT3?
My use case is 5-6 track weekends a year and some weekend around town driving but i have 3 other vehicles. I used to race NASA and SCCA so i'm a decent shoe.
Lastly, i have zero rep at this dealer or any other but want to eventually buy a new GT car, is it worth buying from a dealer just for this?
Thanks
In your shoes, I'd jump on the RS.
I wouldn't worry about getting dealer rep from buying a used GT car. You'll have more leverage at trade in.
Can’t remember what it was listed for yesterday but prices are dropping.
it was listed at $199k down from $205k down from $215k. I checked this car out and passed as they were terrible to deal with and the whole package was too loud for my tastes. Also, a manual with coach seats is just a very small market, and those guys usually want tourings I’d imagine.
Lastly, no FAL,

Passed because no FAL too. I’m the touring/sofas crowd but may have to settle for 6spd winged car because they’re $40-$50k cheaper at this point.
