I am looking for a 991.2 GT3 as well. I can say the manuals are more expensive and for some reason more likely to have seen track use for some reason.

Is it reasonable to find a decent used manual 991.2 GT3 for $175k?

I’m going by this and BaT auction results around the same mark

I've not driven a manual 997TT but I do have a 997.1 GT2 and one note is that car's clutch pedal takes WAY more pressure than my 991.2 GT3. Maybe someone that has driven a manual TT can comment if that pedal is similarly heavy. I know you said he's in great shape, which is awesome, but depending on how he would drive it, it can be a chore. 991.2 GT3 on the other hand is arcade video game light clutch in comparison....just something to consider.

996TT and 997TT are (in)famous for having hydraulic assistance built into the clutch circuit, sort of analogous to a car with a manual steering rack vs one with power steering. The exception was the GT2, which had the standard gt car clutch hydraulics. So 997TT clutch weight is light, with zero feel for the bite point, and hence the GT2 slave cylinder conversion is a desirable upgrade (for people without left knee issues).

Compared to 997TT, I find the 991.2 GT3 clutch pedal to be a bit heavier, but much more feelsome.

As an aside, I do find it amusing that a 997TT with 30k miles would be considered barely broken in, but a 991 GT3 with 30k miles is high mileage.

Can anyone provide background on this .1 RS? My buddy sold his cup and is looking for a .1RS. This one looks pretty sketchy with the mismatched calipers. Curious if the forum has a take on it:

That blue is obviously not factory. I would assume that all four calipers were painted at one point. And then the rears needed to be replaced for some reason - likely the ceramic pucks cracking. The new replacements would be yellow of course, until someone paints them.

Check out the "RS" text at the center of the wheels. The front wheels have blue script and the rears have yellow - same as the brake calipers. Given that the previous owner matched the color of the text to the color of the calipers both front and rear, the mismatch front and rear colors look to be an intentional style choice.

You're right.
That's just weird.

Just purchased a 2019 GT3RS ~5k miles, Blk, Steel, LED, LWB, Lizard and Leather. Downside is it has race headers and straight pipes so if anybody has any stock takeoff exhaust parts I would be interested.

Anyone in the area who can take a look at this one? I’m thinking of getting it for pops. I don’t think he will miss PCCB for spirited driving. Any thoughts on the price vs market? I think it should be closer to $180k given lack of PCCB but not sure how color and other factors are valued in this market.

Also not sure how to think about the VIN no immediate story checks out here
