That would be a great problem to have!

One day after sitting down the seat started to move forward and the back went too far forward and got stuck. So it ended up being completely upright. Called Ogara and they wanted to charge me $250 to fix it. Went in to fix it and the service guy took the car in, brought over his laptop, plugged it into the car, ran a reset sequence on the seat and done. Took no more than 3 minutes total....and they couldn't just do that for me for free. Told myself, F this. There were also exterior body panels that are literally double sided taped down. Ridiculous. List of issues I had with the car...
  • Horn faults ALL the time
  • Turn signal faults ALL the time
  • Coolant tank rupture
  • Seat wouldn't recline
  • Car wouldn't start sometimes unless I literally stood on top of the brake pedals - happened a lot
  • Car wouldn't start unless the key was in some magical unknown spot in the car - happened ALL THE TIME
  • Door wouldn't latch when trying to close
  • Rear backup camera wouldn't work after a spirited drive
On top of that, the infotainment system looks like something that came out of the 80s.
Wow.

And not to pile on, but the initial Artura media drives didn't go well on this front.

Save full economic collapse, I don't know anyone who thinks they'll be going for less my man. 992 RS gets to 250k MSRP on lower end builds. Add pts, Weissach, ceramics, fal, etc. you're at north of 300k sticker. Used Merc Black Series currently sit 450-550k, Huracan STO about the same. 992 Tourings upper 200's and well into 300's. Initial rounds of flipper 992 RS's go for Touring prices, or at a discount relative to that market competition? I don't think so.

991.2 RS is a clear buy mid-2's imo. And that's before we find out it's actually the better car to own and use.

991.2 Touring Agate Gray for $205k, no PCCB, no buckets, 22k miles. Decent deal to get a touring.

That's why you'd have to be crazy to buy a first year model of the Artura..or hell the first 5yrs of that car. My car had mainly electronic gremlins. I can't imagine the entire car all about electronics. Whatever person manages their electrical division should be fired. Hopefully not the same person that developed their electric drive system. LMAO.

Yeah, sounds like it was the same guy (from 18:07). "...led me to evacuate the car in a hurry..." Good lord

It's a great spec but market is softening, he should have taken the 191k + 5k fee since 196k for that car is fair.

lol this aint happening. 992 gt3 is already at 250k, these at the beginning will be 300-350, at the end of the run, you can order or pick up sticker just like last time

The reality is if people don't think they can drive these for free and/or flip for a profit, the demand sinks significantly which I believe the writing is on the wall for already.

Add on this car is even more unusable than the 991.2 rs (I also ordered new)....These won't be very difficult to get an allocation on after initial deliveries...

not my comment, but to think this is a legit transaction isn't even wishful thinking. it's sheer delusion

yea i just read the comments.....PTS is in high demand, but not $150k more than every other GT2RS. But looking at past BAT auctions, the prices have recently spiked almost $100k into the $450's......back in May they were in the $360's. What am i missing?

IMO, the only thing that makes rational sense is Bat is full of dealers just trying to hold up the market to offload the stuff they are well over extended on. it is no secret everything is headed in one direction right now.

blowing 5k, or getting a dealer and buyer together to run a "comp" online for all to see and the secretly both tell bat post auction why they need to refund the person and could not come to agreement or just blow the 5k as sunk cost of doing business seems like common place now.

Why would any real buyer get online and blow money way over market on cars sight unseen?

Simple, BAT is full of funny business.

991 GT2rs is a great car, but not rare at all and these were trading well UNDER sticker not too long ago lol

Whoever put in the $600k bid did a dumb move and/or really wanted the car bad far beyond what’s considered remotely rational. The car was at $459k and then they bid $600k in response with no counter bids to theirs. Unlikely this will be considered a market reference point. Winning bidder overpaid by probably $100k or more. But the transaction seems fishy.
