Guys don't fk around if you want a car. the car mooty has listed was one of the first 964 I drove several years ago and it put in my head I need one.
Its VERY setup. it's light, a just raw enough. And, its been owned the last few years by one of the best techs and suspension masters in the Bay Area, it is SETUP.

Ding on the carfax back in 1997 minor damage
Miles get a little fuzzy, car only accumulated a couple K miles over a 6 year period before stepping up after that
Price is well what it is

What’s a manually folding top? Described on this car

Honestly though I would get a PPI done to confirm condition, especially when you’re spending that much.

The paint is original although unlike mine which has had clear film over the hood and chip prone areas, this car has some rock chips which have been touched up. I have never seen the car in person however I know its history, Two prior owners and have carfax and pictures from 2006 or so and know it well since I own one of the three cobalt cars I made it my mission to find out as much about the other two and the few ROW cars in this color.

Without exception I would put this car along side mine as its equal although I prefer the black interior. My car is a 295.8 out of 300 point concours car and I have no doubt this one is as well. There are other turbo's out there with less miles and are more original but as far as looks and attention not many cars will get attention like this one. I always recommend a PPI although I highly doubt anything will be discovered that would be a concern. I hope this goes to an owner who appreciates it as much as I do mine.

@cobalt Picks apart every 964 that comes up for sale for every little chip or any imperfection. Then another 3.6 CB comes up and puts on his cobalt-colored glasses.

Bruise on front bumper cover? A few other things that I question but lack the experience to publicly mention. Cobalt, let's hear the real review - just pretend like it's any other car and not one that affects the value of your own

Honestly, it's above and beyond anything I could dream of owning - amazing looking car. I just think the about-face is a little fun to tease @cobalt about

^^^ yes it has some imperfections but what car doesn't. I am biased about the color. But I can assure you my comments in no way are influenced in any respect. They aren't made to inflate pricing to increase the value of mine. I have no interest in selling and increasing value only means I need to pay up for more insurance. I call it as I see it and I know what the prior owner had done to the car when he first purchased it. Honestly it is as nice as any 964's I have critiqued and I have critiqued most all of them. LOL

The only other 94 964 turbo I have seen that was as nice was Frank 993C2S's Midnight blue which was a beautiful example. All original paint and unique one of one rear seat delete option on a turbo. I would never bias my opinion this car is not as clean as the midnight blue with delivery miles 92 964 turbo S lightweight that brought nearly $2mm but darn near close.

I wish more 964's were this nice or this clean.

It's certainly a great looking car! It struck me in the funnies when you had nothing but good to say about it, though Ignore me, I'm a little cynical most days! I'm still part of the Cobalt crew (for now!) so I'm on-board!

"Cobalt-colored glasses" - Hahaha, there definitely aren't many that get the Cobalt Seal of Approval! I'm not really a fan of the interior color but a killer car nonetheless!

^^ I spent a bit of time answering questions about the car to the last owner I am aware of prior to his purchasing it. Larry seems to be selling the car who was the owner before him and the mechanic who i greatly respect his workmanship. I have a bunch of pictures of this and another 964 turbo owned by the same gentleman who has an extensive collection. So unless something happened I am not aware of this car is as represented. As I recall he had Larry drop the engine and address everything as part of the purchase and I don't believe many miles were put on it since he owned it.

I don't think he will mind but here are some pictures he shared with me of the car before he purchased it and it is spectacular condition considering it has some miles and has no clear film protection. I was very lucky the original owner of my car applied clear film when the car was new and I have very few stone chips. The prior owner before Larry actually made a lot of the same modifications I did to mine (ROW Turbo S fogs and brake ducts, exhaust and suspension setup) He used my car as a model so to speak.

The owner of the car wanted mine with the black interior and had kept this article from Pano so many years ago always wanting the cobalt color.

I just realized this car was originally sold at Essex sports cars in Mapelwood not far from me. I used to drool over the cars they had for sale.

I am happy to answer any questions about what I know to any seriously interested buyers.

chuckling here Cobalt,... but you know me,... I've crawled in, around & under your car on several occasions,... and you & i have actually competed against each other at Werks Reunion. The only thing I'll call you out on with this PCarMarket Cobalt 3.6 for sale,... is that you yourself have never laid you eyes on it. Prominence & History are great of course,... but you know you should have seen this car in person by now, to give such glowing support. It's the only way to judge all the nooks & crannies. And you know my car, and that I'm a perfectionist.

.... and of course I'm being hard on you cuz you can't come down and join BadBoys Mike & me on the Oct 5th weekend.
