Did some more cleaning and getting to know my '95 GTS now that it is finally home from the body shop. You would be hard pressed to tell this car ever hit a deer. It really looks stunning. I have plenty to do to make it nice on the inside and run as well as it should, but I will get there in time!
Today I put the cowl cover that Jerry Feather makes on the car. Looks great. Should get the hot (positive) post cover for under the hood from 928Intl this coming week and will put that on. Should get the hood liner from Nicole the end of the week or next week and I'll then drop the car off at the body shop to get them to install that and readjust the headlights so I can actually see the ROAD! I can see all the signs pretty well, but not the road so much! UGH!
Oh, good used rad fan coming from 928Intl too so I can then drive the car w/o worrying about overheating. Oil change in the near future as well... I hope with those things we will have the mechanical issues sorted and can then concentrate on making it all beautiful again!

Spent the day with Brian buffing and waxing my Euro. 5 stage process and the paint looks 5 feet deep and wet. Great to have friends that enjoy helping each other. A big thanks. Lots of beers and pizza even Mead after. Delicious.

Brad's car is all original paint, and very nice. Mine has had some paint work in it's past, but both Euros escaped the installation of side markers during federalization, and came through with the H4's intact. Also, both cars have the Euro spec exhaust with the Euro front muffler and no cats.

Beautiful buff and waxing work, that paint work looks as new!
Did leather treatment inside (just using standard Turtle wax Leather Cleaner & Conditioner, as it has always worked fine for me), had been 16+ months ago.

Your cars look AWESOME!
Brian, I saw you premuffler, and that didn't look.stock to me. It's catless, but not original. Have you since replaced it?

Yes, picked up a correct euro muffler at the 1/2 off sale at 928int. Got rid of the hack job that was on there when you saw it. So, a cat was put on when federalized, and then the PO removed it and installed the hack job. I put it back right, Euro spec.

Went for a drive ended up at lake louise, turns out my 13 year old lad is quite handy with the camera, he was in the wife's car.

Unlocked my 91 S4 in my driveway that was under the car cover.
My neighbor bangs on my front door this morning telling me my horn alarm
Has been going off every few hours for 5 minutes the past 3 days.
Damn if I heard it. But, it did after I waited 30 min. Will leave it unlocked
for awhile. Check it out this weekend.

This is a "What I did WITH," rather, than TO my shark. I went fishing with my car as bait and hooked my nephew on sharks. He is 23, one year out of Occidental and needs a job in San Diego so he can get an OB and start the journey. He was a psyc major, worked a year doing data input in an urelated job; I wouldn't have encouraged him, but he has done some minor, very, wrenching on a Civic and of course liked Porsches, but a couple of twisties and he is now totally hooked. Wants a DD. Any purchase should wait til he is more settled in a job, but I think we have new blood.
