Bought some jack stands and floor jack to lift her up to replace the oxygen sensor. Floor jack didn't give me enough clearance to get the heat shield out of the way. Plus I didn't like how it was holding her up before I got the jack stands underneath. Going back to Sears to return the floor jack.

Think I'll find a place with a lift and do what I need to do underneath instead. I love her but not enough to let her crush me to death.

New fog & driving lights...full assemblies including the parts that bolt to the bumper
Inside each, 35W HID's at 4300k.

With the main beams also on HIDs, the voltmeter doesnt tickle now when turning on all of the lights.

Poured in a gallon of Amsoil Racing 50w, put a drill on my oil pump & spun the oil pump to fully prime the engine: observing all 32 lifter galleys fill with oil & tension increasing on cam tensioners. Installed t-belt and turned engine over 720 degrees, repeated oil priming to ensure all contact surfaces are fully oiled. Fully installed t-belt, turned over 1440 degrees & re-tensioned, installed covers, drained out oil & filtered for reuse (no moly-lube used). Looking good!

Get four 6 ton jack stands and some liftbars to go with your floor jack.

Plenty of room to get under there and it feels really stable.

Default Fathers Day car show

Had front spot going into the show. The white monte (i think it is) took off so I took his spot and popped the hood. A lot of folks didn't know what it was. I sat back and just watched people look into the cockpit.

Technically it was last night-but dropped off my replacement radiator (long story short-salvage one was not good-got a new exact 91 S4 replacement new but Fedex sucked it big time getting it to me yesterday; the woman at Fedex was an old friend who I hadn't seen in decades so it was a win in the end). Replaced taillight harnesses. Now at a trade show all day. Bonus--nice Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet in the parking lot...

I have two 3-ton jack stands, going to get two more from Sears when they are on sale. The floor jack height range wasn't enough so I returned it for a 6-ton bottle jack instead with a much larger range, up to 21", for only $25.

The nicer floor jacks are too expensive for me at the moment. They're starting off at over $120 for 2- to 2-1/4 ton ones.

Took her out today for some gas. Waiting until it becomes cooler before jacking her up for that O2 sensor switch. I got roasted the last time I tried to do it. I had the hose running in the driveway to keep me cool.

Couldn't change the O2 sensor, I didn't have a small enough 22mm wrench to get access to it, even with the heat shield off.

Ended up cleaning the grounds on the alternator. So very tempted to clean all the caked up crud underneath her but it's too much strain to stay on my back with her on top that long.

Today is the first day I reached my limit and was ready to sell the car and everything. If somebody had walked up with $10K, I would be out of here.

Off to have a large pitcher of Long Island Iced Tea, and will start again tomorrow, and if I can't sort out my injector issues the car goes on PNO/unregistered and covered.
