So what did you do to your 928 Today......

On the past two weekends, actually. Put in a new genuine radiator and new trans cooler hoses (radiator hoses already new) but unable to get to the block end of the oil cooler hoses. We will do those when we do the engine mounts. Also fitted a brand new viscous fan clutch, so now there is no excuse for the car not to run cool!
Huge thanks to my friends Jon and Hilton for coming round in such rainy weather.

Freshened up the window trim. Did one rear QTR with flat Trim and the other with high gloss. After studying them both we went with High gloss all the way around.
Then adjusted parking brake. Went from in-op to op after taking tensioner bolt from fulled extended to fully tightened.

Great work Brian,
Took mine out on a 25 mile loop on Saturday and it is running very well, need to go down to Motorsport SLC soon and see my buds down there for a bit. Not driving it nearly as much as I wish I could.

I installed the replacement fuel rail yesterday and drove her to work today... (no fuel leaks!)
I'll be replacing the remainder of my fuel lines next weekend.
On a side note:
I received a replacement fuel rail as an annonymous gift from someone on Rennlist...
The package said "Happy Fathers Day".... The billing statement showed the real buyer however, so now I owe you lunch, beers, a hand wrenching, or all of the above! (You know who you are!)
THANK YOU!

Replaced the rear shocks, cleaned and lubed the rear shock adjustment tubes and collars, spring perches, and checked all the rear suspension rubber bushings. Shocks were so worn you could grab the old ones by the steel shaft, shake them vertically, and they moved like a somewhat strange looking yo-yo. Took it to the alignment shop; the car no longer shakes its booty to the left when striking a bump, and feels more like a shark than a porpoise again...(porpoising was so bad, on pavement expansion strips it was almost enough to induce nausea)

Replaced my Rear Hatch seal!, much easier than I thought it would be. 2 weeks ago replaced exhaust headers with 85/86 and 3 in exhaust and SS hi-flow Cat. Pulls like a train now.... FUN

Spent a good half-hour just cleaning the windows. Trying to improve my outlook... Amazing how much junk accumulates on the insides of the glass, especially the rear windows. Half a dozen towels later, it's all clear to me now.

Finally!!
About 9 or 10 months ago I bought a white 89 S4 to fix up. One of the main things it needed was to send the seats to the leather shop. Well I could never get one of the seats out because it wouldn't move forward or back. So finally today and after a couple hours of work I got the seat to move so I could remove it. Here is what I found. Heads up dimes and seat rails don't mix!!

Your Shark is looking good Big Dave
I repainted the tail light reflectors and installed the newer 30watt LED's in the brake and signal positions and moved the older ones to the running/clearance lamp position.
