Today I started the 928 for the first time since:
Checking cam timing, replacing cam chain tensioner moving pads, checking head oil check valves, replacing cam cap seals, renewing all cam cover seals, breather hoses etc etc.
Replacing oil pan gasket, oil pressure regulator springs, steering rack bushings and rubber bellows.
Removing intake, replacing all seals, vacuum lines, flappy & TB bearings, flappy actuator, knock sensors, all hoses etc, etc.
Got injectors serviced, new rotors and caps installed, all water hoses in engine bay replaced, new alloy reservoir tank, cap, thermostat, sensors etc, etc.
Full coolant and oil change....
Lots of cleaning along the way........
Oh, almost forgot, added fancy colored letters to newly coated cam covers and intake. Also had reservoir & water bridge coated.

Drove it 2250 kms round trip to SITM. Had some fun in the mountains on the way home yesterday following a 6.0 l GTO. it was a nice looking car, fast and had a sweet exhaust note. Kids were in the car with me so couldn't go too crazy.

Today I finally replaced my fuel lines. I used parts from Roger and the underhood lines took about 2 hours to replace. The 28 year old lines looked remarkably good. The short lines from rails to injectors had been replaced about 8 years ago, so I left them.

Got both windows working again. Removed scabbed power from cigar lighter that PO's mechanic had put in to make the driver's side work! Removed extra brass 'shim' from fuse holder for #15 that was likely an earlier temporary fix. Saw that passenger door had replacement window motor from 928 INT - marked with felt pen. Likely another attempt to fix.
Real issue was corrosion in fuse block:

Removed fuse block, cleaned all surfaces and repaired bent tabs. Now both windows work

Left Side, R&R Window & removed Tint, Replacwd and re-keyed door lock (non-functional for three years
Installed custom Leather door cards to match the Dash by Rob Budd.![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Added LED's behind the door pulls![rockon](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/rockon.gif)
Installed Han's Custom Speakers w/ crossovers !!!![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)

Finally got my AC fixed today. I guess we need it here in Texas.
I bought one of Griffiths' Kuehl compressor kits. Got my local mechanic to fit it & I had my first cool ride home for a while!
Fitting this I converted over to R134. All is good.

Well the sunroof is back in, and what a sense of accomplishment it was.
I did tighten the 4 bolts along the front rail tightly and then backed them out with a socket on a hand driver, then tightened back up just to snug, with a tich of blue loctite. Same principal has hand tighten, just a little more precise. IMO
I trimmed probably 1.5" off the seal when I stretched it around, I did use a couple very tiny dabs of RTV every 10" or so, just to impeded it shrinking and pulling the rear seal open from the front seal.
She slides great as I wiped the grease off the runners. Smooth solid close, perfect.
Brakes done as well, I just need my retaining springs for the front. On the rear I just painted the rotor hat as it was rusty. There is no paint on the hubs or studs, what you see is anti seize paste.
Hood liner also done, looks better in person, no discoloration on the black part of the pad, it just does not photo well with my on board flash.
Those covers from Roger are fantastic, one of the best purchases yet.

Used an add-a-circuit fuse in the window fuse position (as seen posted / done here).
LED's come on with key on and they go out when a door is opened utilizing the window delay, could have also used the sun roof fuse same delay.
Works great, thanks to bill b. for posting it
