BTW still fighting with the 82, I will have enough consistent info by to nite to post on RL
for input
Hi Mike-
Just now getting into the two cars and need to know some specifics concerning them. Hope you can provide some answers to the questions following:
1. What is the condition of the 86 motor? Why did you get a replacement short block and who provided it?
2. The 86 tranny appears to have been rebuilt and not used since. Is that the case? Who rebuilt it?
3. The 89 tranny appears to be OK! Yes or No? Any info on it?
4. The 89 engine broke the #8 connecting rod and took a chunk out of the #4 cylinder wall and block. Otherwise, OK-but its a scrapper.
5. What's with the front control arms and the early brakes all around?
I do like your engine block table but would hate to be your mover. : )
The table in my living room was fashioned from an ancient Chinese temple's window 'screen'. The surface is ornately carved and pierced out camphor wood.
Let me know if interested in the rear bumper reflective lettering.
