bought an '88 944 over the weekend. it goes in for seals, rollers, belt etc. tomorrow (beyond my skill & tools), but today & yesterday I:
removed rear wiper, replaced visor clips, gapped plugs, replaced interior roof panel by rear edge of sunroof, discovered leak in radiator hose.
shifter is loose; considering Schnell SSK.

I have four wheels and center caps that are now etching primer green! If I don't waste too much time sanding, the color/pearl/clear will go on tonight.

Cleaned all the brakes-Rotors/Calipers/Pistons and inspected brake pads
Bled all the brakes using my power bleeder, bled the slave too
Changed the oil & filter
Cleaned the Air Filter (K&N cleaner)
*All of this was done in the past 2 weeks after work

Finally put it all back together after a new head gasket, getting the head skimmed and pressure tested, new guides, new seals, new hoses, thermostat, and a few misc. parts. Still seem to have white smoke and water vapour in the exhaust, along with a new problem of the engine cutting out when given any throttle (probably a vac leak I guess). Almost ready to throw in the towel :|
