Removed old 494 Option code Amplifiers below seats yesterday, to get rid of excess weight. Last friday we did a brakejob with 996 Gt3 mk1 front calibers + discs + ferodo2500 and new cross drilled CS disc rear. updating probably to ferodo2500 to rear next spring too, with 5/33 valve.

here's few pics from the amps + brakes.

Rescued a sick dog. Found a clist 83 for $500 that has been sitting for a couple years and was abused by a PO with spray paint and crappy fixes. Instead of heading to the scrap heap, this beast will be revived and live on as a ChumpCar racer.

So now I have two race cars in my driveway. No shortage of work to do there!

Reinstalled gearbox, torque tube, starter, cv axles, shifter, heat shields and exhaust system. Replaced brake fluid with Motul RBF600. Bled clutch system (what a pain). 9 hours.

Currently non-operable... Sounds like fuel issues. Lots of receipts in 06 for injectors and fuel related items. However the PO tried to start it with really old gas in it and it likely got gummed up. It needs a good cleaning, and the outside paint is trashed, but I met it will make a good track car once cleaned up.

Spent a lot on motor mounts, front engine seals and timing/balance belts. Then I broke the cassette holder hinge. That's a cheap part though!

Been driving it now and it's quieter, which highlights how bad the speakers are. Need to go speaker shopping!!

I accidentally covered my 951 with a mouse nest, that was fired from a 3" pipe powered by a V8.
