Didn't "physically" do anything to it today but I did buy some pretty neat stuff for my 3.1L build.

Bought 7 quarts of Mobil 1 15W-50 today in preparation. ETC? Estimated time of completion? Still waiting on the cylinder head, but I'm hoping I'll have it running by next week in time for an autocross event.

hehe, well i started stripping the paint off! i'm going down to factory primer, maybe even bare metal if i so choose...i'm tired of the rustoleum on top of mismatched improperly cleared maaco on top of thin factory paint that's barely there at all....

i'll be spending most of my tomorrow getting more paint off!

drove 100+ miles hearing a strange clunking noise, doing some 4-wheel drifts and 100+mph on the freeway and got home and discovered that 5 out of 6 bolts on my passenger wheelside axle were loose, 4 completely backed out...along with the drivers side torsion tube chassis mount. all were torqued maybe 3 weeks ago to factory specs. (triple checked) no idea what happened.

tightened everything up and had no more clunks!

Loctite is pretty much mandatory on those axle bolts even with proper torque. I've had that happen at the worst times but not once since using Loctite blue
