Fixed the "crickets" in my hatch....been driving me crazy all summer. Turns out they were the metal snaps along the back vibrating. I used velcro...will see if it holds in the heat.

Filled up the gas tank, 16 gals @ $2.92 per gal. found the nearest onramp and floored it to the next exit!!

I go home this way 'cause I hate red lights and traffic. I bypass 3 lights and stop and go driving, a little further away and more time but much nicer, I get to drive about 5 miles in the desert instead of town.

also installed a racy-looking bar between the c-pillars that is a solution to keep large heavy things from sliding forward and hitting me in the head (no rear seat). (does it count as rice if it has a good purpose? lol)

its actually a piece of black steel gas pipe, pretty sturdy stuff and this particular length was what was used to knock apart my TT. stripped the old paint off, gave it a few coats of flat black, and mounted it on the pins that the seatback used to clip onto. ill get a picture tomorrow maybe.

tomorrow im going to tighten all the suspension and tranny bolts, adjust my noisy hatch pins, and then drive to san francisco

Torqued down my cylinder head but found 4 of 10 bolts had quite a bit less torque then the others =/

Hid her from the weather tonight. Expected big storms and garage is FULL of parts from fixing my Saturn.

Have been wrestling with a shifter problem that seems to be a recurring issue. Managed to push the shifter forward and back while shifting around.

Oh and since I haven't updated in a while... GOT REAR ENDED BY ******* FRIEND. Wasn't paying the frick attention! Now shopping for a Euro bumper.

Worth it in the end The lower diffuser will help shape the sides. I had to sand the sides of the gt bumper quite a bit for best fitment.

I feel for you, really... my daily commute is 75 miles each way.. and I use my P-cars as daily drivers... makes me not mind the distance one little bit...

WOW, that belongs in a gallery, not a garage... simply beautiful... makes my engine look like a glob of grease with hoses and fittings... my only solace is the fact that mine goes VROOM....
