Oh yeah I also spotted a cracked sway bar drop link while I was under the car. (A job for next weekend.)

New brake pads, rotors, system flush, bypassed the wear sensors, new hinges for the sunroof air deflector. The front pads were a nightmare. They simply wouldn't fit over the rotors. Pulled the calipers apart and filed and lubed all the sliding surfaces on the caliper brackets, cussed a lot. Still trying to find out what the master warning light is coming from. won't go out. Tomorrow I'll check the parking brake switch. Power bleeder is definitely the way to go.

i ordered exactly one grill... got lucky because about a few hours after i ordered, they raised the price from $150 to $167... well, it arrived today. gorgeous. only problem is, the guy at the warehouse should lose his job. seems the devil's in the details, there's three of them here all stuck together. easy mistake, but i received 3 for the price of 1. and this schitt ain't cheap. what should i do?

anyway, got 2 in 12" X 42" inch sheets. offers welcome.

Ordered a set of Dunlop Direzza Star Spec tires for the 924S. I hope to have them on the car before the 8/13 Chesapeake PCA Autocross. Looks like I won't be able to use the "crappy tires" excuse any more!

Changed the oil in the 944 and got the sunroof working in the 951. Now the only things left to tackle on the 951 are new exhaust, LR Master Hose Kit, rebuild throttle body, oil pan gasket, rod bearings, new wastegate, etc, etc....

These tires were amazing on my 924s, enjoy! Run them a few miles before the Auto-x.

my car still makes a rattling noise on deceleration despite the new torque tube bearings. i think one of the noises is gone, but the most annoying one still exists. it may just be my transmission and lack of a steel flywheel to dampen it.

no complaints as long as the new vxb bearings hold up. one of the oem ones felt slightly rough. it probably would have felt worse at 5000rpm
