Installed a modified 968 Spoiler!!

I picked up this hatch with spoiler last year but really wanted an adjustable spoiler, I modified this spoiler to make it somewhat adjustable. Last week I got it painted and swapped out my old hatch, I could have made the aluminum pieces a bit nicer but I think it came out quite well.

Nice spoiler - if you extend the end plate up at either end to fence off the side of the cambered spoiler area, it is likely to improve downforce a bit. You should also do a few wool tuft experiments to determine the stall angle. More camber on the foil is only better up until a certain point - where the flow is interrupted. You could also install a simple gurney flap across the trailing edge - a 10 or 15mm flap of aluminium at right angles to the plane of the spoiler - and that would increase downforce without adding a lot of drag.

If you're not racing - well it sure looks good

I didn't do this today but have been away from the board for a while. A few years ago I bought a FOHA front lip spoiler here from TechnoDuck. I put it on about a year ago but hadn't taken any pics of it. Since I was submitting paperwork to PennDOT for antique registration plates yesterday (and had to include 4 pics of the car with the application) here it is:

That's a cool spoiler! And on a more mundane note, today I replaced my headlight switch again.

Put on my Antique Car tag that came in last week. $29.00 and it's the last tag I will ever have to put on the car.

I finally got some parts from Lindsey Racing today, so got most of them fitted. I replaced nearly all my vacuum lines, and fitted the LR boost enhancer. You can see the new vacuum lines below the boost enhancer

In the last few days i've put the Can Can red seats into my car, put a new (to me) airbag steering wheel in and the car feels awesome now. The seats were in my 924 previously and so now the car feels like home.

Today i had a spare exaust flange welded on to the cat so a stock muffler could be mounted back up. The PO had the flange hacked off so a crappy fart cannon style muffler could be put on. Waaaaay to raspy at 4k+ for my taste. Now i have a stock 88 944 muffler and the car still has a good rumble at idle but doesn't sound like a pack of angry bees when im getting after it.
