Dropped a heap of cash on some wheels - thanks to ritzblitz

Still waiting on appbiz carpet in the post.

Have clear front and rear indicators in - waiting on side markers.

Still working on dash and interior.

Below the stereo the PO had installed a set of extra guages (temp, voltage, oil pressure) but used the flat face triple guage mount that came with the guage kit. It was chrome and "almost" fit the opening. I pulled the guages, and used a piece of sheet metal fabricated to fit the opening. Next is to paint it and see if i like the painted look, or use some leftover black vinyl that I had when I made my speakerbox/armrest for the back seat. I'll use whichever blends with the look of the console better.

I much prefer these "little" projects that don't keep the car held up too long my garage.

Yes, yes I did.

They are going to kick all kinds of ***. But will also make me want to buy coilovers to crank down the ride height.

Nearly sold the cup reps and Bridgestone RE001 as in my avatar to pay for them... if sale falls through I may have may have the car on blox for a while

Plus the dreaded explaining to the wife scenario. When "trust me" turns to WTF!

Hahaha, yes you will definitely need some lowering (and dare I say guard work) to do them justice! The gold will go perfectly with your car, I'm very envious! Make sure you post lots of updates maybe I can live vicariously through you...

Hey spence, if you want the euro fog look get a set of projectors, put those in the place of the existing light and move the existing light over to the driving light position.

Bam Euro fogs for $40.

Edit: they should look like this when they are done.

...I'm about to start taking the passenger footwell apart in preparation for the new heater core. I tried a bypass but the hose blew in the hot Temecula weather yesterday.
Here are a couple pix of the old core I removed a couple of months back...

You'll see, people aren't kidding when they say Porsche chose a heater core and built the car around it.

completed my full AC delete my installing a factory volt meter in place of the control ****.

the only bit of the AC system left is the auxiliary cooling fan and relay. the relay is wired to a factory fog light switch (i have no fogs). this allows me to override the thermo fan switch and put both fans at max speed. with the switch off, the fans function as porsche intended.
