pulled the intake, resealed the drivers side rear balance shaft cap with some RTV, made my own venturi delete, rerouted some wires/ vacuum lines and soda blasted my throttle body.

Oh and then I reinstalled everything.

Replaced the shift lever, leather shift boot, and installed a new momo **** to match my momo steering wheel. "While I was at it" I got my centre console power door unlock switch working when I was putting it all back together.

Took it for a nice drive afterwards.

I put another layer of carbon fibre on the intake/airbox of the project. It's quite time consuming using the lost foam method. I melted the foam out using acetone and that worked real well. I was a bit loose on the dim. for both TB and MAF so I just put a couple relief cuts with the dremel and tied it up tight with wire and layed on an other layer of cloth. Carbon really is amazingly light. I doubt the whole tube weighs less than a couple of ounces.

I got my roof paint cut back to remove some stains. It came up a treat with the paint looking deeper red and the milkiness gone. I then got her home and gave the roof a coat of wax, and decided while I was there, to go over the front bumper and valance, and the rear of the car with Meguirers Scratch X(a fine cut swirl remover). I then waxed the whole car. It has come up so well I am going to put off the respray I was planning indefinitely.

I stripped both headlight buckets and the header panel off of my 924s along with the rennbay headlight harness. Then i replaced the fender side pivot on the passenger side headlight of the 944s, saying that getting everything adjusted back in correctly is time consuming is an understatement.

people have a hard time believing me when i tell them the headlights are the most complex part of the car, by a long margin.
