PSA: Making my incoming/ordered Carrara White Metallic GT4 Manual (with 18-Ways) available to someone to take over the order. TYD ETA is currently July 25. Here is the link to the ad I posted on the Marketplace
https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1352758
The reason for my bailing on the order is that since I have a dedicated track car now, I have decided that I am going to get a Spyder instead of a GT4 for my street car.
MSRP plus a $22.5K ADM.

I guess it is called the "Spyder Classic Interior Package", my bad.
Here is a render of my exact configuration:

I do plan to replace the Silver Interior Trim with Carbon Fiber Trim, as others here have done...

Ahh yes. That's familiar. Almost bought a CWM 981 Spyder back in 2018 but it had a bad DME report. Definitely a beautiful combo. And I actually prefer the GT Silver interior trim. Call me crazy.

The CF trim with the Classic Interior package does not look bad on the photos I’ve seen, but from what I’ve read it is a CXX option making it quite a rare find.

I sincerely think the aluminum trim is higher end material compared to the painted trim, in terms of both looks and feel. Not sure why Porsche insists on the cheaper painted plastic trim with an ‘upgraded’ interior package?

I'd actually agree with this as someone with carbon trim. I don't mind it since my whole interior is black, but I think on this car the silver line splitting up the lower and upper interior colors works pretty well. Doubly so if the car itself is silver. That is if you're attached to the Classic interior in the first place.

Is offering a dealer original sticker on a previously owned low mileage 2022 GTS Cayman reasonable?

I owned this car from Nov 2022 until a couple of weeks ago
https://www.porschesantaclarita.com/...ca-id-48734474
I would caution anyone buying this. In the short time I had it, It was in the shop for about 6 weeks of that ownership.
It had many issues that have a couple of threads here but in a nutshell
1. Check engine light for a cooling fan that didnt come on. It's a software issue but it needs to be 'active' for them to do the update. (showed up again later)
2. 2x suspension clunk that does it both when it's hot and cold weather wise, even/uneven pavement,,etc. sounds like something is loose. (they ended up replacing the tie rod bushings and pad under the gas tank)
3. "no video imput" from the nav/map into the main cluster (never solved - I didn't want them to crack the dash open)
4. alignment issues were the caster would not align correctly (Car had issues being aligned. All in all, it was on the rack 3, maybe 4 times.
5. replaced all four rotors and pads for excessive brake noise that exceeded a db level set by the factory. (replaced within 3 days of ownership)
6. tire failure on driver rear tire. was a structural failure and not a puncture or due to a object strike. (not the car issue but suspect it was from the car sitting with the PO's)
7. A/C stopped working due to it freezing up.(know issue but annoying nonetheless)
8. Cooling fans / overheating issue (This one was the final draw for me. Fans stopped all the sudden and the temps shot up. When I picked it up, they said the code for the fan's was "missing" and they reflashed. I don't know what that means but It sounded like a poor excuse from issue #1 noted above)
The car was a certified CPO but I quickly learned that means really nothing. I did contact Porsche to see if a master tech could review the systems and that was in process but I was told it would take "weeks" and since I could not depend on driving it long distances, I traded it back in. Mind you, this was not an easy decision as I lost about 15K in the deal from purchase to trade in.
