Take over my order, with a CT dealer. Incoming 2023 GT4 Manual in Carrara White Metallic.
Current "Track Your Dream" (TYD) ETA to Dealer is August 12. The car is on a ship and has left the German Port.
MSRP is $134,370, plus an ADM from the dealer of $22,500, total of $156,870. Has 18-Ways and Steel Brakes (with Calipers Painted Black). Full Spec attached in pics, has a very high interior spec with all the bits in Black Leather, Seatbacks, Steering Column, etc. - and Black Leather with Black Stitching for a subtle look, not available in a GT4 unless going Deviated Stitching.
(Please note that the Interior Pics are not quite accurate as (1) I changed from Leather Interior Trim to Carbon Fiber Interior Trim after I download the Pictures and (2) the configurator does not render the Deviated Stitching - all stitching (including the GT4 Logo on the Headrests) will be Black.)
The Pricing is fixed with the dealer. Logistically the way it would work is the new buyer / transferree of the order would give a $13,500 deposit, and the dealer would basically transfer the order to the new buyer and refund my deposit.
I am well known here on the 718 4.0 Forum, with 2+ years of heavy activity and hundreds of posts. There is nothing in this for me, other than that I would like this to go to a fellow Rennlister, and I want the deal to go through my SA, to make him whole for my cancelling the order. They have already agreed that they will refund my deposit, once it comes in and sells, if I don't find another buyer beforehand.
Thank you!
-Pete

The reason for my bailing on the order is that since I have a dedicated track car now, I have decided that I am going to get a Spyder instead of a GT4 for my street car.
You won't regret it. I daily drive/drove a 997.2 C2, a 981 Spyder, and a 580-2 Huracan... the Spyder is truly a fantastic car. I've driven a few GT3s (997.2RS, 991GT3, 991.2GT3 6MT), and none of them capture the pure top down fun of the Spyder. I've accepted my next P-car will be a '19 Speedster, but I need a lot of money for that lol.
Unfortunately with an ETA to the dealer of 7/25/2023, that car is locked and likely already built. Nice spec and an opportunity for someone to grab one of the last GT4’s.
Congrats on the plan for the Spyder. I simply love mine!
With all due respect - ADMs on GT4's and Spyders are going up, not down, with all new allocations opportunities now gone. I just spent two weeks looking for a Spyder, and I looked at new GT4's along with that to compare. Several dealers were at $40K+ on ADMs on new GT4 Manuals, including 2 with a very similar spec to this mine here, with 18-Ways and Steel Brakes.
...is asking for $40K over, and they aren't budging because they know they will get it.
New or almost new 2023 Spyders are going for (and selling for) about $40K over. I almost bought a 2023 Spyder for $40K over, but I ended buying a 2021 with 2K miles that I like the color and spec of a little more.
Mine here at $22.5K over MSRP for a brand new one seems like a bargain, relative to what I saw out there over the last couple of weeks.
But no worries, someone can take it over here, or if not the dealer will sell it when it comes in, either way works for me.

I'm confused on the one you linked to. Are you saying they want 165k for it? or are you saying it's build is 85k and 125 is 40 over?

Ah - my apologies I was not more clear. When the Porsche website finder shows a new car, it only shows you the MSRP. (When it shows a used car, it shows the actual asking price.) You have to contact the dealer to find out the price they are asking over MSRP. The asking price for that one is $40K over the listed MSRP price. That one just came in last week. The PTS one they also have listed has an ADM of $55K. It seems some dealers took the last rounds of allocations and built cars, knowing that the market value of new GT4's and Spyders would go up after there are no new allocations to be had.
And for those who might say "well, those are the asking prices, that doesn't mean they will get that price" - for the $40K over slightly used ~100 mile 2023 Spyder Manual I almost bought last week, they wouldn't move on the price, I backed out, and it was sold later that day.
I got my 2021 2-owner 2K Miles Spyder for about $20K over. I wasn't extremely happy about $20K over for a 2.5 year old car, but it had a spec I liked a lot, and it was low miles. Also a very clean DME report, zero over-revs.
Yea that gt4 you referenced is at Porsche Irvine which is an Autonation dealer. I live about 10 miles from that dealer. People pay over msrp all day long there, tons of inventory with high ADM.
Your car seems well priced comparing to the market here in Orange County, CA. Good luck!

then it sounds like you'll be doing your sa a bigger favor by bailing out coz they'll sell it for 40k over instead of trying to unload here for a merely 20k
Update - I had marked as sold, because I was considering following through with the order.
Marking as unsold/available again here, as I have decided to instead follow through on a Cayman GTS 4.0, since I have a dedicated Track Car (Rick Deman-built 2012 Cayman R Race Car).
