Yeah, they've had that one in the inventory more than once. I was getting impatient waiting for mine about a year ago and saw this on the floor at the same dealership. It did not have the easiest life before being traded in at that time. I think when I saw it, let's say July or August, it had 7400 miles on it - and was obviously a tracked car. I've seen it there more recently and they seem to have cleaned it up well but I also think it's a 3/4 owner car now which could be hurting it.

When I saw it back in February at a PCA meet, I just remember the steering wheel being filthy. The yellow 12 o'clock mark was almost black hahah. Was like jeez...you guys could've at least cleaned the thing a little bit first

While I don't know the provenance first hand. It is a 4-owner car (in only 3-4yrs) and was originally Canadian. Perhaps the over-rev report isn't clean? Seems like its been passed around which obviously hurts.

For a data point I traded my 9800 mile $129k ‘23’ GT4 for a ‘23’ GT3 touring. I received $118k for the GT4 which allowed me a $9500 tax break. The GT3T is currently sitting in Baltimore waiting on a truck.

i would have jumped all over that in a second. I get trading it to get the tax break. Unfortunately, the dealer will probably mark it up to 20k over sticker. The house always wins.

What was the adm on the touring? Unless it was $0 these numbers are kind of meaningless.

As someone actively looking for a Spyder (and been following prices closely for a few months, I don't think the market is "strengthening" as much as the depreciation curve is flattening. I think the "asking price" market is a bid absurd, but I'm seeing the same Spyders (so many of them are white for some reason) sit with dealers for weeks/months on end when they're priced $15-20k+ above MSRP.

The ones I see actually selling are priced competitively (and better specs) (or going for reasonable prices on BAT). I'm just being patient for a spec/reasonable price and then I'll jump on it.

If you are seriously interested and you are seeing what you are seeing, I would start making aggressive offers and see how firm the asking prices are today, especially for a spec you like. The worst they can say is No.

Good luck.

I think this is spot on. Ive been looking for a spyder or GT4. A lot of them have just sat. Im looking more less daily for the last few months, most times at the exact same cars.

that’s impressive you ran up 10k miles on a ‘23 already!! I am about to break 5k miles on my very late build ‘22 that arrived 9 months ago in september

Mine went up today. Will miss this car immensely, no replacement for this one as we are trying to buy a lakehouse. Ill be back in the fold in a couple years hopefully.
