Depending on the spec they're trying to get to, if it was a track car, it may have the Clubsport upper strut mounts and makes me think that perhaps that works for a more aggressive alignment but if getting back to OE street spec, you might not be able to get things in the window?

Couple hours left on this rode hard poverty spec Spyder.
Who bumps a bid from $90K to $105K?
Anyway, if the sale goes through this one will hammer home to buyer at $110K (with fees) for a $101K build.

The high bidder on this car has bid on 6 others yesterday, including a GT4 RS:

FWIW, per some of Matt's car storage clients, and this noted Porsche broker, GT4s are the "next big thing", and "people are selling GT3 for GT4"...starts at ~8:50:
To add, I think its GT4s in general, as I'm selling mine, and in checking comps, there are only like (2) for sale that are under $100k, and both have been in accidents. They are listed in the low /mid $90s. A 64k mile 981 GT4 just went on BAT for $92k.

I was wondering that? The "clunk" nobody can find - on my 718 it's always the swaybar endlinks. The nuts are allegedy "one time use" and I've made a few adjustments to mine (I autocross my car.). The nuts loosen over time if you don't replace with new nuts each time you take it apart to adjust it.

Has anyone ever flown to a dealer to check out a car? There's one I'd like to check out but it's a thousand miles away. So not sure how all that would go. Just wondering...

I bought my 718 GT4 from a Porsche dealer in Florida, mostly email. Probably spoke to them for 10 minutes over the phone. Had the car shipped. Also bought my 981 GT4 this way from a Porsche dealer in Virginia, flew down to pick it up. You can do thorough due diligence over the phone and with pictures if buying from somewhere reputable in my experience.

I just put a deposit down on a gt4 in Florida today. It’s a little bit anxiety producing to buy without seeing in person, but the salesman did a facetime review of the car for me. It’s getting a dme check tomorrow. Hopefully it’s ok. Being under warranty still gives some reassurance. I’m excited, but a little nervous

I put a holding deposit on a car from afar and flew in to check it out and briefly drive it to make sure everything was as described. Bought the car that day and flew home. They held it until I could arrange for shipping. Didn't want to road trip it with no PPF and LWB right from the go, plus boring miles to add to a low mile car.

I don't understand why someone wouldn't do this? Typically same day flights on Saturay's are relatively inexpensive. Before covid, you could fly almost anywhere out of ORD for under $300. If I'm spending $100k on a car, I want to see what I'm buying.

Is it? This thing has been for sale for 4 months. at 132, then they raised it to 136, now it's back down again. Market can't be that strong for 718s or something is really wrong w/ this one.

As someone who’s been looking for a GT4 for a while, it seems like a lot of the available cars have been gentian blue. Maybe that’s contributed? The ones that seem to hang around seem to be 15-20k over for 2-3 year old cars. I sort of feel like they should be no more than 5-10k over, but I lost out on some being cheap…
