Yeah, they've had that one in the inventory more than once. I was getting impatient waiting for mine about a year ago and saw this on the floor at the same dealership. It did not have the easiest life before being traded in at that time. I think when I saw it, let's say July or August, it had 7400 miles on it - and was obviously a tracked car. I've seen it there more recently and they seem to have cleaned it up well but I also think it's a 3/4 owner car now which could be hurting it.

I heard a full JCR header back spyder the other day, and honestly it sounded really bad at WOT...ear splittingly loud and super raspy. I don't know which part of the setup made it sound like that. But was kind of embarrassed for the dude. A couple of us were listening and we were all like what the heck!?
Car looks like a fantastic spec other than PDK though! I've been toying with the idea of swapping my GTS 4.0 for a Spyder, but the asking prices for Spyder are insane right now

As a prospective buyer, and a dork, I have been pulling down some basic data around 718 Spyder sales, auctions, and listings from dealers, auction websites, private sales, etc.
1. For cars that have actually sold (auctions/dealers/private sales), they're selling at an average of 110% of MSRP. If you then include the high bids specifically auctions that didn't sell (including assumed fees), it would drop to ~107% of MSRP.
2. For cars currently listed for sale (dealers/rennlist/etc.) the average asking price is ~118% of MSRP.
3. As for trends over time, sales prices have trended down from ~ 119% in 3Q22 to around 107% now. It's been in the 107-110% range for the last several months, so the market seems to be pretty stable at this point.
Obviously my dataset isn't comprehensive, but it's large enough that any new inputs are unlikely to skew the results in either direction by more than a % or 2.

Broker on here routinely has GTS allocations for around $7.5k.

I’ve seen this slightly used 2023 Spyder listed, but not sure how the dealer can remotely justify the asking price. The original MSRP was $131,380 with an asking price of $165,000, or a 25.6% mark-up.
Porsche South Austin - 2023 Spyder
I think I’ve convinced myself to justifying paying over MSRP, but there’s definitely a limit to that. Especially if it’s not something like a PTS.

No PCCB, no buckets, and PDK. Ain't fetching that number.
