It can be done but will require lots of work and patience with private seller cars. Also if a well priced car comes up for sale it can be gone in 24-48 hours so if you didn’t check the market that day then you missed out.

12 months ago dealers were asking 15-25k over on these cars. If 10k is worth another 12 months to you then keep waiting but with them being discontinued prices may not go down.

My advice is find the car/spec you want and pay a fair price, you won’t care about that 10k after owning it.

I’m fine with a fair price. I just don’t want to be the guy who is overpaying by a lot.

No one will know (or care) if you keep it yourself.

It’s all personal taste. The classic interior is too much for me personally because of the red. The 000 interior is simply gorgeous but too much $. Just wish we could have specced optional leather interiors of the GTS 4.0 models with the Spyder.

I like them both, the Classic is significantly less red in reality than in pictures (that's why I hated it for months until I actually sat in one and really loved it) - but I can't deny that the 000 interior has so much more style, looks more expensive and unique.

This. I know it is a personal taste but I don't understand why so few people speccing the natural leather options in the GTS.

I don't really care for the two tone interiors but even if I wanted natural leather, you can't get it with buckets on a GTS. GTS interior was the only option for my build.

I don't get it either. I am quite sad it's no longer available when my GTS allocation comes up in a month or 2. It would have gone great with either Guards Red or Shark Blue. And they took away
Python Green in favor of 2 more gray/silver colors.

$184,034 so $189,034 with the buyer's fee. Seems unsurprising. I do feel like gold wheels painted after delivery maybe docks that one a small amount.

I thought the reserve would be at 200. I guess not. Kudos to the seller for letting it go for probably 20,000 less than he is in it.

$1,200 to sand blast and refinish the wheels.

There was another RS in the back lot waiting to get serviced. It looked to have the exact same spec as the one in the showroom. Such a beautiful car!!!

I bought my CPO from them. I love them for service but on sales they play the same games as all the rest. I’m not sure they have any choice but I couldn’t even get on the list for a new GT4, GT3, or 4RS. So many wealthy buyers in this area I can’t blame them but it’s a sad state of affairs. Hopefully their allocations increase with their new fancy dealership.

It will be interesting to see how this one ends up, but the 718 Spyder remains appealing whether configured with no/few options or built out to GT3 pricing. And I'd much rather pay for high-grade finishes and options in a 718 GT car than pay similar $ in pure ADM on a new or used GT3/RS/etc. As always, YMMV!
Crazy what 4 months can do, the Spyder that sold for $200k had $10k less in options and 5k miles yet it sold for $15k more.

One does wonder whether 3 sales in relatively quick succession with extremely similar specs may have somewhat depleted the market for that spec, at least for a while.

Mayhap. Perchance. Foppish that I am...I would go with blue wheels.

If my bank accounts worked well enough to get one, it'd be only for an investment possibility, so I'd probably pass on an RS. For that money, I'd rather 4.5 a regular GT4....and buy another car to daily with the money left over.
