Now it's finally priced for sale (though prepared for sale as poorly as ever). Would be great to see someone bring this one to life again.

Hasn't this game been played before? Where it starts low then gets re priced?

Wasnt it the only comfort/road spec version produced or something? I remember it was very rare...

How hard is it to at least clean a car for sale?

Someone on here should buy this and be done with it. Its all the car you will need for road and track and as its only 7 years old should keep your track bills down to consumables....

Something to be aware of, the same seller has new 964 engine parts on Trademe.

To any lurkers out there, get a Pre purchase inspection or anticipate the costs to get this up to scratch, probably another $10,000 to be a solid fast road or track driver.

As the competition with Lola and Herman shows, the C2 weight advantage over the C4 won't show itself until you are pedaling relatively hard. You won't be doing that on old suspension anytime soon.

That is basically Simon and Kevin's strategy - sell up the cars and go for one newer track oriented one. Can't bring myself to sell the 964s so I'm $75,000 short. Plus, the competition with Lola is shaping up to be a lot more fun. I think you can count on the next outing having Herman giving up 100kg to Lola. Z221s may be the last advantage I have.

Have any of you actually ever dealt with him? He's a good straight up guy and by the way the parts are part of a stash that came from overseas with a car he imported.
Considering how scarce C2 manuals are his price is right on the money I think and certainly cheaper than what you could import one from Japan for.
