Sorry to disappoint John but us 993 owners have the identical 964 crank case/block except ion our case its doesnt leak oil....

Funny when you look back though.... I bought the 964 Turbo with 3300km's on the clock and sold it with either 15,000 or 18,000km on the clock. I paid $90k for it and sold it for $92k (with a new set of pirelli's on it) and if I still had it today it'd probably have around 40,000-50,000km on the clock and would have depreciated bugger all over 5 years.
Helga has almost ticked over to 105,000km. I've done 35,000 of those but beggar all in the last nine years (13,000 km). Now she has new tyres, shocks and control arms bushes she is driving like new and I'm going to put on some road trip km.

Yip. Already done that John (see picture getting valve timing done last week and note flat screw headed elephants foot adjusters - this valve train has been built with 7500 in mind). Also have holed sprockets as factory on my early build 993. With the suspension backdate were really are driving the same car...

Yes he is +1. Only downside is that when I buy my next 964 its unlikely to be Doug's as it'll have 250,000 on it by then!
