At that price its likely to stay on TM for ever.

Agree. I'm sure the white car has a story at $24,500 but there's a big premium to pay for 50,000km less on the clock with the red one.

There seems to be an awful lot of cars on TM at the moment.

There is a few coming on at the moment. This Targa seems under priced to me, but I don't have a full grasp on the value of the older cars. Am sure there's something obvious contributing to the asking price (other than the fact it hasn't been driven for a long time). http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=735253618

Indeed there are a lot of Trademe options. This GT3 seems like good value?

Yeah, I test drove that last year when it had a full (not Porsche Motorsport, but aftermarket) cage, harnesses, etc. and was listed at $70k.

From the discussion last time... here it is in a Targa: http://www.groundsky.co.nz./index.ph...EntrantID=6226

Had to see some of Macca's sex bots while digging up that history.

Aside from the spectacular colour, that would be a good buy if you could be sure that it's in good health. Not a Targa fan myself but I can see the attraction there as a weekend beater.

At that end of the market you have to know your personality and capability. If you like perfection and can't wrench then it's an expensive proposition.

I spotted that and posted on the FB page this morning too.

I love that he's got one car to do everything and he has persisted with it. Stone chips and all. I wish I could take a leaf out of his book.

The targa is a steal. Being a 2.7 it can only go up in price. Providence looks good and reverted to RoW spec and given a little tidy cars like this will fetch much more on the UK market. I can't see how you could loose on this one if that's your cup of tea.

Gt3 ex Singapore. I know the car from Singapore . It's had a hard life!

Regarding that Olsen link... his write up received significantly more criticism on Rennlist: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...ll-shines.html

And a follow-up thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...s-at-wsir.html

I'd love that '74 Targa for a weekend/occasional daily. Perfect colour.
