Matt - are you going tomorrow - we could head out in convoy.

As Matt says - its a whole different type of vehicle and a whole different risk profile when it goes wrong.

And Paul - you should know better than to ask questions like that! Its like asking a C3 owner why he traded for a 993...

Pete - I kept it very cordial.

I thought about questioning whether this was a performance upgrade, but given we are talking about real people, this is not appropriate.

My wife threatens to trade me in, one with slimmer lines and does what it's told??

P.s - I haven't sold the C3 yet, maybe I can have both at once

Does your car still land tomorrow. You will be a legend if you can get this complied.

P.s. - when do we need to drop our cars in this week?

P.s.s - are you coming tomorrow??

So many questions, so little time!

Car is still on track but not till tomorrow evening. Have no control over how fast it leaves the wharf to Carr & Haslam depot for MAF/Customs.

Car drop off is Thurs or Fri (Fri is absolute latest according to Chris.) I will drop a note early in the week including to those who need to get wheels/tyres there also.

My 214s still haven't arrived either but shouldn't matter as the 221s will be fine for 4 more days and have some roadies for the touring.

Not going tomorrow - no car and a few jobs to do.

Cars parked. Now beer and food at Russell waterfront. 720km so far. If Doug's map is correct we should hit close to 1,000 km when we park up tomorrow afternoon.

Learning lots. Have your cars in perfect condition with new pads etc.

As for the GoPro. Put a cable tie to it as well as the suction cup. Mine let loose and went over the roof. Bounced on the road in front of Michael and smashed the case and cup, then dented the camera. Unfortunately there must be a buffer memory inside as the card popped and there is no recording of the incident.

You can grab a ride with me if you want??

I'm doing my jobs now (writing weekly reports in between checking this forum).

Macca, this was my skeleton case. Still have the full case.

As for decals. You are very lucky. If I had your RSG decal in my possession at the lighthouse I would have put it on the bluff sign at cape Reinga.
