Not for me. Too many uncertainties at work etc and not in the budget. Will listen closely to the post targa excitement though.

Great buy for '44 seeker, but I understand the 996 cup cars are possibly at $65,000. Starting to look attractive.....
Yes, a few seconds off 996 GT3 Cup and a bit more off 997 GT3 Cup. His 944 is a great car, but a real hotrod with the good and bad that comes with that, ie. Very fast, but i suspect a different cost of ownership than a standard 944S2.

+1 for me. I loved Taupo and Manfield. Would definitely do all I can to get there.

We need to get some fighter jock advice from Trundle so we can bounce some bogies once in a while.

Macca, thanks for sharing your experience with your PSS10 settings. I had a good look at my setup while Lola was on the hoist today getting a WOF check and Contis and a long helpful chat to Dean. Matt did a lovely job of the suspension. She's got everything you'd want. He went through the best process to learn about the settings by dedicating a track day to playing with the full ranges of them to get to feel and understand them. For the Cape Reinga run I'd like to play with softening them up to see how she responds. The H&R sway bars are on the softest of two settings at the moment, so I imagine they're pretty aggressive on the hardest setting.

So much to learn and play with, and I haven't even thought about playing with the alignment yet.

Ha ha. Paul's pretty wicked at sneaking past as you go into the corner... Must be all that Uncles training.

That's why you need a wingman. One attacks the corner and the other protects against the bandits.

On Sunday I was twisting his arm to come up to Waipu for a nice 4 hour b-road run (AKA the Langs Sunday run) to shakedown the 993 with its new setup on Sunday. What about you Macca? Blow the cobwebs out of your 993. You know the run, it's pretty nice. All the details are on the RSG site. Without you two it's 5 x 964s, 1 x 944 and a single 991. Not a 993 to be seen.

I'm starting to swing from a 44 to a boxter as a track car. Maybe a 3.2 S (3.4's still too pricey)

Was very impressed with the Doug mobile..........

Good man. Nigel has a 2003 Boxster S complete with adjustable shocks, lowered, and a 4 point harness. It goes well. He's been undecided about selling it for a while. It has a hard top too which would make it good for racing. Budget might be a bit higher tho.
