I've ordered 30 banners, which gives a few extras.

11 Red font & white background

5 White font and red background

11 Red font and black background

1 Black Font and white Background

2 White Font and black Background

Quote says 5 to 15 working days, but I reckon this will be quick. All they have to do is setup stock on the printer and print all of the combinations. I think they will be ready for fitting before the Track Day, but that may be a red rag to a bull given the Club's thoughts on the Gruppe.

How many folks here going to HD on sunday? I'm thinking of it but accommodation is a pain in the proverbial around there.

I think there's 8-9 of the regular group out there plus a few of us (Paul and I for sure) will be heading out in the afternoon to catch up with Steve on planning for future events.

In theory, accommodation should be easy with all those apartments at HD sitting empty most of the time - you've just got to know someone! Coming from your direction I'd probably just grab a cheap motel on the Te Rapa strip north end of the Tron

Looks like there are plenty of sprints/gymkhanas coming up in July/August.
I must be halfway there. My Paypal account was debited on 4 June, but I'm not on the Club's registration list...yet. Neither do I have an email confirmation.

Anyone know what's the deal with the Club Sprint on August 10th?

I don't know for sure (Paul?), but if it's like last year's Bent Sprints then two cars of similar performance are set off together for 3 laps of the track. It's meant to be a bit competitive but not as serious as a full-on race. You're required to have a bit more safety gear (extinguisher) and a race license -- obviously neither a problem for you.

Last year there weren't many entrants for the sprints so they had regularity trials as well. I'm not sure if these were considered a success by the organisers or not -- like almost everyone, I was just ignoring the times and having fun...

Paul, any idea what the "speed event/sprint" on July 13 is?

Oh right, thank you mate. I had thought it was something like that but wasn't entirely sure.

The engine might not be back in the car by then anyway. I'm just back for that week and would be nice to do some track work. I guess the 11th is likely to be a playday too.

Yes Correct - 2 cars set off together, but at 5 second internals. It's good if the other car is of similar performance, otherwise you drive around by yourself. The 5 second gap is so you hopefully don't catch the car in front.

It's quite a good spectators event from the pit wall as you race off the line for the first corner, so plenty of dropped clutches...........

Anyone know what the equipment requirements for gymkhana are? I'm presuming overalls and helmet not required? Just good footwear.

Couldn 't find the info on the flyer, but looking at last year's photos it doesn't seem that any special gear is required. I will bring my shoes and gloves. Will only use the gloves if the wheel gets slippery. Looking to arrive about 8:45.
