I don't and this is way too technical for me but for what its worth I found the following.
Google "eprom programmer" and limit search results to NZ and you get a few firms that provide units or services. You can also find plenty of ep units on ebay for about USD50.

Google "27C512" and found a VHF group in Welly selling some although not sure if they are 28 DIL.

I think that may be a way off, but I'm now less than 2 seconds (1.869) off Steve's time so it's easier to keep up with some of you. I seem to have sorted turn 10 more than turn 1. BTW Blue is Steve from 02/11.

I also seem to have had a very consistent day, which dispels the theories I had after the last effort. Fastest session times were:

Session 1 = 1.22.619

Session 2 = 1.22.507

Session 3 = 1.22.300

Session 4 = 1.23.196

Session 5 = 1.21.448

Session 6 = 1.21.885

John - turn 1 is where its at. You are staying on the brakes and then it looks like lifting as there is no speed pick up. With the C4 you need to finish braking and then get back on the pedal as you're going downhill and looking for that 2nd inside rumble strip. You'll be surprised how much speed you can carry through there when you're on the gas with all 4 wheels driving. Next time out, focus on that corner and just be braver - the good thing is there's a massive run off so the downside is very limited.

The downside to getting solidly into the 1.20s and better is that the classic trials will start to feel very slow... make sure you post lots of updates next weekend & hope it goes well.

It would be no fun if you came out and aced it in the first few goes. The journey is the best part. The good thing to know is that the C4 is a capable track day car. Today I seemed to be 'bothering' a few more cars than usual. You'll get there as well, it just takes track time.

Yes, I can see that happening. I'm in a good space right now with the car, but eventually I'll reach the same point as you i.e. The car becomes the limitation and you need to either improve or replace it. Now I have a spare set of rims and Z221s for the 996TT, that will likely get more use at times, but I'm a 964 zealot at heart so I may even go 964 racing at some stage. Many years away...
