Hi Macca
I've been looking at the 991-GT3 forum as well as this one....looks like you've just about taken over that one with all the questions that you're having to answer from buyers who are still waiting on their cars.......I think you're already acknowledged ad as the 991 GT3 authority !!

Carpet, a luxury no 964 owner can consider given their propensity to soil the floor!

Well sad moment just now seeing the 964 leave my driveway - hopefully we'll see Gary along to an RSG event or two in the future... I left the banner on just in case.

So down to the search for a replacement now - certainly not a lot on TM at the moment. Just saw the yellow 996TT come up at Giltraps but thought it a bit strange as the listing doesn't mention the word turbo once and its for sale through the audi dealership and not Porsche. Anyone know the history on this one?

John. I have the same GoPro. I advise latest firmware patch for solving wifi hang up and improving battery life on wifi. Can be found under support on GoPro site. Have had the Gopro for 15 months been diving flying and driving with it and its great but sometimes feels it could be simpler. Battery life is a little disappointing and the waterproof case should be built in as its bulky and clumbsy. However for the $$$ and image quality its probably the best value on the market and like iphone has plenty of accessories, apps and support...

Bod. You arent wrong. The first USA cars will be with customers in a week or twos time and I cant wait for that to take some of the pressure away. Being one of the first customer delivered cars does have its downsides! Im sure in no time the yanks will be tracking them, modifying them and will become the driving gods and experts - thats all fine for me - they dont have very interesting fast driving roads over there from my observation so I think Ive scared them a bit in the meantime LOL!

Pete. Big congrats on the 964 sale but yes sad as end of an era. However you were always upfront that you never keep your Porsches more than 1-2 years so no surprised either. Biggest surprise for me is that Tony didn buy it. I think he made a error there!

Cant wait to see the what next!

I think Tony has a couple of solid options at the moment with a few good RSG 964's for sale.

I have a car in mind but scared that the moment I pull the trigger a better option will suddenly appear. Guess that's why I turn cars over so frequently scratching those itches!! However every 2nd p-car I've owned has been a Red 964... so watch this space next time around.

Seriously I think that when you get back over here we need to schedule an RSG movie showing for the edited highlights.

Red 964 owner take note. Built in residual safety net called Pete. Nice!

Yes a movie night would be grand. I have now 200 minutes of footage in the 991 GT3. To convert a 2 minute clip takes me 35 mins of editing, re formatting and loading on youtube form the hotel and I simply cant afford to loose any more time processing this stuff where there are things to do and roads to drive in Europe. Ive not posted some of the "less politically correct" driving stuff as some of the boys on teh board get a bit preachy. Also the wife giving me a bitch slap and telling off was probably not for public consumption 3 minutes later we are ticking 130kmph along a straight barreling into a tight 35km corner shifting down from 5th to 3rd LOL!). I think stunning your prey is the best form of strategy. After a couple of little sideways everything else seemed manageable! Set the bar low and over exceed I say! One thing is true. She wont be joining me as navigator for the Targa next year - Im letting her off on that!

I'm liking the *** view of your 993 C2, in a weeks time my garage will look like this two

Black or grey interior - I might have to ask nicely if I can come around one day and have a look please?

We all have our favorites, but the rear 3/4 view of the 993 takes the cake (unless John posts those pictures of soap sud's over 964T's rear haunches)

Grey. Has the suspension been replaced on your new car? I went with Bilstein HD / H&R Springs. The lowered height was great improvement both looks & handling. I would go with PSS10s today. Also suggest upgrade anti-sway bars at same time. Then procure the magic of the suspension setup guy - is it Peter? You're welcome to come and check it out.

Black with Sports Seats. Large wood trim package (rootwood I think?). Wood trim would not be be my pick but lifts an otherwise sombre black interior. Plenty of leather in turbo but not on things like indicator stalks so the spending hand held back a little. Also has the computer, cruise ctrl. Turbo is near mint whereas Carrera has been round the block a few times. Love both despite starkly different condition and driving experiences.

No - it has an 'agricultural' ride height and will be modified quite quickly - sounds like our cars are the same spec. - I will take you up on that offer - cheers PM
