Come and have a hoon round the track. By "hoon" I mean a gentlemanly traverse of the circuit... of course.

Actually I think if you are around 9:30 they always do a few (3) slow orientation laps - no helmets required so just jump in the queue and come on around.

Macca, nice to read your news and to see the love of your life feature in a photo :-) The GT3 looks and sounds like it is stunning. Black and white cars are always hard to photograph so, hearing it looks much better in the flesh, means we have a treat in store in a couple of months. Good on you for planning it so thoroughly and living your dream. You're right, those wheels have been beautifully designed. And the rear guard, with the wheels filling the space so nicely is very sexy.

Take care mate. Oh, yeah, how much do you want for that old 993? Ha ha

Manual 964 C2 for sale - Chris, should keep neg's with Dave honest.
Looks pretty rough to me, makes Dave's look good value.

I think if Dave's 993 was a coupe it would be gone by lunchtime at that price and knowing how well it has been looked after. Seems a minimal effort to market it, only two photos.

Anyone know what's involved in the Targa Ecolight Tour? One day sprints on 2 March based around Pukekohe.

Just what is on the internet, but Pete and I have entered. Worth discussing on Saturday.

Im going to a corp boxing night Friday night so don't rate my chances of making the 7:15am convoy, I will catch you mid morning though!

For touring, nothing, just show up. I haven't seen any supplementary regs saying you need an extinguisher for the tour but I know you don't need Trackit or Monit.

No helmets, no harnesses, no cage but I'm sure Peter will give dispensation for cage and harness in a P car as he has done for me in the past.

I spoke with Prestigio today and they will cover the car in the tour for no additional premium, the only difference to an RSG track day is that the excess goes up to $10k.

Is there anywhere we can read more about this small 1 day tour? Could be a nice trial for the bigger Targa Tour 2014 events? The targa.co.nz site doesn't seem to have much info.

If you look under events on the Targa website and download the application form it has some more detail. That's all I have been able to find.

Thanks found it now. The menus don't work to well on an ipad - ie didn't show sub-menus, but with perseverance found the form with my PC.

Looking forward to chatting about it on Saturday.
