I think Ron was going to do a run up there same w/e but canx as there is also a PCNZ event (Pukekohe as the Porsche race series is piggybacking off the V8 Super tourers round). I imagine we'll be a little more sedate but feel free to press on with Macca (and Paul won't be able to help himself either!) You do realise you've been elected point man for the day?!
How'd that happen?
I'd be glad to figure out an interesting route :-)
No, Friday is my last day at work so I can't get out to Pukekohe. Given its a Super Tourer round its run a bit different with practice and qualifying on the Friday.
What does it look like now and does it come out much?
I don't know, I have only seen it from the pit wall when an apartment garage door was open. It was a PCNZ day, and I remember someone telling me it lives there - circa 3 years ago.
I have old photo's of that car too - circa 1986-87.
Nice photo - car almost looks pearl in colour.........
I'm a fan of pearl white, but in this case it's probably just a fogging lens. Was an hour+ in 25F getting loaded, blocked & trying to get the crew to use the right tie-down points. I'm still cold eight hours later.

Then you'll appreciate 26 deg C here at the moment - although not forecast to hang around. Brilliant start to summer!
Count me in, thanks! All loaded up today ... Month of darkness ahead ...
Christopher, have you sourced H4 headlights yet with RHD glass? If you get stuck I have two lights I swapped out of the Turbo 3.6 you can use while you work it out. One of the mirror bowls lost its shine so I replaced both. They are not cheap new but clear eyes make a car.
Doug. Find us some nice tight B road windy roads mate. Maybe up back of dairy flats or Kaipara harbour. Somewhere there arent any rozzers and we can really fang it LOL!
Lots of different options, but nothing locked in yet. I've got some travel planned and won't start anything until April 2014 at the earliest. I might even have enough time for a little project with Steve R for Targa next year...........
