Honesty is the best policy - I'd rather cough to my mistakes sooner than being found out on someone else's video.

That white Cayman R is just a perfect machine for you Pete. That particular cat with PDK & buckets is specced to do low 1.16s at HD straight out off the box and then take you home and to work with the 10 speaker sound system blaring. I really like those cayman Rs and will be very tempted to try the new one when it comes out....

Matt - care to explain the slightly different line in this one? No idea if I was in the right place or not - keen to know if you were running wide for a reason.

Starting to think about "re-stickering" the 944 - putting my own colours on - maybe something a bit brighter (viper green being the favourite). Anyone know what the ball park cost of a wrap is? And can you sticker easily over a wrap. If too costly then likely to simply remove existing, buff the paint and re-sticker.

Pete. Maybe he was flipping the cassette....LOL! Actually looks like he was using you as a snow plough to push through all those pirouetting ricers....

Id imagine full wrap would run around 2500 nzd. Maybe more. Cheaper to strip, cut and re sticker (maybe 1800)?

Yes - just thinking though its a dull colour for track - be safe be seen! I know there's no performance justification for the spend but it may be the one cosmetic job to personalize and put a Gruppe stamp on it!

I think that's T9? I don't remember to be honest, I was pretty much all over the show for the first two sessions.

Dave, I think we know where your couple of seconds from Manfeild went... Matt obviously pinched them during the NITT and used them on his next track day

Luckily I'm not after speed, aye?
When I joined RSG I really wasn't.
But it's kind of addictive chasing them.

Pete, if you are looking for a new colour way to go with the brown I'd say orange with white would be on the money. You could choose a Jaegermeister orange for a bright detail. Or a gold orange if you want to be more in keeping of the era. That's if you're applying vinyl over the base colour.

Wraps for hiaces are usually about 4-5k for a wrap installed for a one off from memory. They obviously 'wear more' than paint as they get more and more dinged up with stone chips. Then you replace that whole section of wrap.

Nice vid - he's done the early 911 & now turbos - wonder when he'll get to 964s and find they are the 'new thing'!!

Cheers for info re wrap - I've seen pricing from 2.5k to 5k depending on complexity and design. We're rebranding the business at the moment so may be an opportunity to dump the brand book on the car for some mutual benefit. I couldn't go orange though - everyone would wonder why Chris B was going slow all of a sudden.

How about a last minute decision to come to HD this Sat? Forecast is clearing nicely and we have a couple of spots lefts (no turbos signed up yet if you're watching Phil & Walter....)

Default I'm about to enter Mecca

Hi RSG crew,
First time back to the forum for a couple of weeks. The NZ Taekwon-Do team came third overall at the World Champs in Spain so did really well. I took a million pics. It was 4 long days photographing the NZ team in action and my 5th world champs. Bloody exhausting but a great high at the same time.

Now I'm back too my main interest... Porsche. I'm in a really basic hotel 750 metres for the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and can't wait to explore it tomorrow. And as luck would have it today Porsche announced a new exhibition they opened today"60 years of super cars". What luck.

I'm sure I'll take heaps of pictures and will probably return determined to own more p cars :-)
