^^^ My Dad had a GT4 for several years. So I have driven one quite a bit.

They are a Marmite car, but personally, I really like them and think the styling is ageing really well.

They used to be a bargain at about $40K, but I think they would be closer to a hundie now??

Yes I'll do that when I'm home. It was a feature car in classifieds so full one page ad plus small ad.

Same here - always have, but like it better these days than the GTB/GTS. Would love to own one as I'm a Gandini fanboi.

Always remember the silver GT4 in Goodbye Pork Pie - wonder what they'll use in the remake?

Me too. The 308/28 looks a little dated by comparison. There are so many reasons they will never build a car that looks like this again (front bumper design just one of them).

Gandini is my hero after Miura and Clockwork Orange car.

Blondini passing the silver GT4 on main road Kaitia (IIRC) in 1980. Can you image what a stir a car like that would have caused in Main Street back then. The Bros would have thought The Jackson's had arrived! Heck I reckon the GT4 is so timeless it would still wash well in the remake!!

Here it is Buba. Sent you the advert by email...Sept 2016 Issue.

Haha point taken. Would love to know the "real" story behind the Miura. I suspect some fairly ironclad contracts were involved...

This was the car that convinced me that Giugiaro did the Miura: http://talacrest.com/Ferrari-Sales/F...iale/11205.htm

Cheers,
Mike

Had a professional photographer come round and take some shots of the cars with all their covers off and the lights on etc so I thought I'd throw some pictures up on the garages thread. Have a look. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...arage-108.html

Awesome shots (and garage!) Stuart.

Must say the 458 Speciale probably the pick of the bunch for me, followed by the 997.2 GT3RS.

You need to pick through my unit for some interesting garage art.

I think a band new vintage Porsche Bike FS and a vintage used 1970s Porsche Avora SkiBob would make excellent talking points in that garage, maybe also my unused Red Dot design Porsche Ski Sledge and brand new BMW Street Carver. Also have 20 years of Porsche factory calendars (good for cutting up to make high quality framed pictures) and 30+ factory posters...;-)

Stuart, not just the cars, but a space to die for, awesome work!

Love the SL collection, no one seems to like them but I'm a fan of the early 90s 500SL.

I agree Pel. The 280 SL Pagoda is a design classic. The 190 SL reminds me of the 300 SL big brother. The 500 SL is a quintessential 90s brick but a design icon in its own right.
