Looks like deeper grooves than the 221. You would have an advantage in the wet.
BTW: I thought the Track woman was going to wet herself when she recounted Neil's 'adventure' on the front straight at HD. Water was the enemy there. She seemed to think it was a lot more than a puddle that he hit.

HD is becoming a second home. I've booked in for the regularity trials on the 13th. $100 is a relative bargain, especially given the prospect of multiple circuits of the track. More fun than a day run to Taupo to run the car in. Paul, Doug and Matt, see you there.

That might be a backup. I'm booked in for the 20th Playday and would love to be close to track ready by that time so the preference is to take Mallowpuff out. Rosemary Pearson reckons we can get serious track time with the regularity trial given the low numbers so far and I want to get some data for my Aim Solo as well.

Just to warn anyone looking at this unit. It doesn't come with an attachment e.g. a suction cup. That will add circa $120 to the cost. If you are able to get it into the country below the threshold then it's probably more cost effective to order the unit and attachment together from the US.

I see someone asked the Trademe seller the same question re suction cup. It may be a coincidence but if not I'd like to make it clear that AIM packages their products this way I.e. there is nothing the NZ seller is doing out of the ordinary. You would buy the same set of parts from the US and have to seperately buy the suction cup.

Does anyone know if the long center transmission undertray can be taken off prior to the engine undertray? Mixed feelings on the seat install - undid a harness eyebolt only to hear the backing plate drop away into the tunnel somewhere. Going to have to go in to find it. I have the seat in the car and am now comfortable after plenty of adjusting. Calling it a night I think.

Dave. Ive just looked at a picture of mine (below) and it looks like its a separate piece can be removed independently. I assume similar in 964. Send pictures when you have them.
I think Ill use eyelets on the rear parcel shelf like Ive seen in many of the European historics 911s. I need to put my passenger seat and drivers seat a fair way back and a harnesss bar may get in the way. My navigator (wife) is 6' and likes her leg room!.

Job for this morning was to search for the garage door remote, looked for 1/2 an hour around the seats and carpet, half dismantled the interior as I thought it must have dropped down there somewhere late last night during my frustrated session with the seats. The missus borrowed it and didn't put it back......
Will tackle the undertray today, RS mounts are in NZ and on their way and the cup pipe is here. Will do it all together over the next week.
Seat photos and the dramatic fitting story coming shortly.

BTW: as you no doubt know, our wives met socially last night. No good can come from this as they related the number of packages arriving and start to count up the spend
