Harden up? Mate I live in the jungle LOL!

Yeah all good Phil. Will have been up since 4am that morning so youll have to put up with me without my beauty sleep that's all. We land early afternoon, need to cross town, dump our stuff, get sorted and we can definitely be there from 4 or 5 pm on-wards...appreciate the alternative date offer tho...

You FB addicts have probably seen these already but a small sneak preview of Deans 911T. Id say it would have to be one of the cleanest and most faithful restos in NZ. Very nice...Im sure it will be ready in time for the PCNZ Xmas party full reveal...

I think the two cars will be pretty far apart in terms of degree of restoration. My T's first real drive with me at the wheel is Pirongia to Auckland on the 13th. The next day it will be beaten around HD with no mercy. I better not ever line it up next to Deans but then the respective end uses are quite different. I'd better get some race rubber, number roundells, bug guts and stone rash on mine pretty quickly so that it wears its true purpose on its sleeve.

Dave. Give me a car I can drive hard any time over a garage queen. As much as I love what Dean has achieved Id personally rather be giving your red head a spanking around the track...

Graeme. Not sure if you picked it up on those Auusie Targa results but Jim Richards was driving the GT4 in 16th place.

Dave, just to be clear, I meant your car ("red" head) not your sister ;-)

I have thought about Tassie from time to time but held back by 2 things. 1) lack of experience on full pace notes and 2) I don't get how the timing works. Look at the last column on the sheet posted which I guess is the equivalent to NZ Targa elapsed event time and I don't get how JR in a gt4 can be that far behind the guys above - its not minutes

Greaeme. I tried to get my 993 there in 2013 (Tour) but got such pathetic assistance for the shipping and organisation I gave up in disgust. Maybe its better if you are competitor. Jo and I would like to take the 993 to Australia for a road trip in 2018. Im not sure if anyone here is interested, but technically its not a bank breaker to get the cars there return. There are a couple of nice tracks including Philip Island Id like to drive too if possible...

Hi guys , just back from UK and France and the RWC . Wonderful experience and most impressed with London and the people!!!!!!! Have not had a chance to read all missed threads but will do so soon. Thought some may be interested in the golf R32 that I have up for auction . She is a great car and worth a look. Whiteline suspension and all the best in maintenance and parts . Need to sell as have the cayenne now. Also saving for the best looking Veyron I saw outside Harrods . Sounded great but in stop start traffic was a bit sad to see.
Here is the link thanks. Neil

Very amusing!! One "session" was enough for me - and most other people too I believe....

Didn't want to throw stones after seeing that video (and hey, I've posted my own spin too), but after overhearing him expounding his views on car dynamics, handling and control down at Taupo on last year's NITT, I wouldn't even want to jump in the car as a passenger.
