Unfortunately John.....No......but Jo only signed off on the move to V when she saw the local girls as she knew there would be no temptation! Our honeymoon in BoraBora had her worried for a while tho as those girls were something else...

Racoguy told me that the Chasing Classic Car program tonight is a Porsche one. This channel could do wonders for the market. The only thing I note so far is that there doesn't seem to be much in new programming since I last watched it in 2012.
Btw Walter, what does the Grinch need to race? Neil has entered it in the next 2k cup race. Dave and Doug are taking BB2

Now her seat is better secured, my other ambition is to secure her steering column. She's always had an inch or so of up-down play at the steering wheel, which makes for some mushiness when cornering, especially when one hand is away. Probably a side effect of losing the steering lock bracket?

Damn Buba. I just did myself out of some aftershave (dont need socks over here thanks)!
I do like his long hood stuff. It was his signature dish. IB stuff was ok too. Thankfully he left the 930s mostly intact.
Unlike Dave I reckon hes got his work cut out for him doing 964 in good taste. It must me the most played with aircooled generation after the Long Hood stuff and weve seen some pretty cool 964 "hotrods" in the last few years in magazines, online, here on RL & FB. Not many stones left un turned to do something original. I can see hes trying hard to be different (creases in roof, self designed tail, brightwork) but Im just not sure it comes off, and actually I feel Porsche beat him to it with the 991 Gt3RS.
Dave. I love the changing canvas that is your SC rear hood. I bought some "bullet hole" stickers for you to put over the open apertures I reckon might look the **** LOL!
But seriously I can up with an excellent idea for my 993 (probably before its die for a major paint overhaul in 10 years time). I think it works better in red. Have the rear and front hood painted with "black board" black. Then you can use coloured chalk to draw stuff on there. I call it my "Janis Look". She wasnt much a looker but you get the jibe. You can give out chaulk at cars and coffee or at the track and we can write stuff and draw rude things on your car. When rains a little it will become a kaleidoscope and we abandon driving, park it up at the HD garage (assumes we can afford one post Quinn) get out the beanbags and light up the bong!
Im serious tho. Have it painted with black board black paint - would be awesome...

From that site too, a photo that makes ticking the 'tourist delivery' option seem rather tame...

Seeing them place the kid at the other end to balance things up reminds me of when we'd be pressed into service on the front of a mud bound tractor to help the clip-on weights there provide some extra front end grip...

LOL! Notes under door kick panel etc dimpled "steel". Nice colour. In Indonesia they are restoring these now. I have a friend with one here, looks like new again...

Amazing aye. He picked his up in Bali for 35K NZD newly restored. Thing is there are tonnes of these sitting somewhere in Australia rip for it. Major work involved in some of the ones I've seen. Been a fan of the Iconz stuff for a while. Have tried to talk others into buying one. Pricey tho. Same with Twisted or any other similar...

It goes on for a bit, but the yards of FJ's in Saudi... insane. I imagine it looks the same in Germany with Porshces everywhere... HA!
The work that goes in the Icon builds is basically a new everything truck, Jonathan's resto's are great too. Talented guys out there.

If you have the interest, Mark Evans does great series of videos on building things. Many of the programs are on Discovery Turbo, one of them is on rebuilding a Landie
